I cannot believe how much money I spent today shopping! Mu mother had to go to the shoe store, I wasn't planning on getting anything and I came out with three pairs of the cutest flats. Got a bathing suit at TJ Maxx - haven't had one in about thirty years. Fit really well and actually holds the girls where they belong. Got some books too. Okay they're cookbooks, I'm addicted to them. When I got them home my dad looked at one and already picked out two things he wants me to make. That's different.
We did eat lunch out. We went to a chinese take out
in the mall. I got chicken and veggies. What I didn't eat (most of it) I made into fried rice for my dad for dinner. He ate the egg roll that came with it too. I ate about an ounce of the chicken. At least it won't go to waste.
Well I'm off to support group. Have a great evening every one! Deb

You can be thankful you got a full nights' sleep for me... I'll borrow yours since I need to sleep vicariously thru everyone here!!
I've taken a 3rd job and am working 2-3 overnights a week (last night was one of them) and my DH doesn't come home tonight. It's the baby's 2nd birthday
and I've promised the kids we can go to Friendly's for dinner. I won't see sleep until about 8-9 tonight (been up since Wed. morning at 6AM).
I'm not complaining -- I think I'm delerious at this point and awfully happy

Wow! You've got a great positive attitude. I think I'd be ready to crawl under a rock and not come back out with all that going on. Especially the job part. Stay strong - you are such an inspiration!
The rain is falling here too. I am heading to Lake George for some shopping at the outlets. My mom needs to get my son a graduation gift and I need some shoes. Love those outlets - designer stuff, department store prices.
Maybe I'll even try to eat out for lunch. Haven't tackled that yet. I know she will want the chinese buffet, but that is a no go for me. I am eating so little these days that it simply is not worth it $$ wise. Not too mention that the food may not be best choice.

Good Morning!
The rain is falling but I AM NOT going to let it get me down!
The scales are up (4 pounds in 5 days) but I AM NOT going to let it get me down!
My job is in jeopardy but I AM NOT going to let it get me down!
My neck and shoulder are in severe pain but I AM NOT going to let it get me down!
I have so much to be thankful for that those things don't bother me! :-) Life is good! I have a good hubby and 2 gorgeous fur babies, a wonderful brother with 5 super kids, a terrific BFF and on and on and on!
