Isn't clothes shopping the best??? I've been buying a lot of the Wal-Mart 5$ Clearance items. They are a 2X and almost fit so they will be fine for the summer. I find that their clothes run small.

Topic: it's the little things that count...
...yesterday was a very challenging day at work for me. I was an emotional bundle. Then the mailman came with a package addressed to me from my secret pal! Inside were the neatest little goodies and a note reminding me that I am loved. Just the right stuff, just the right words, just the right time! And she wonders if I have any idea of who she is. I do but I'm not sure if I want the secret to be out! This is so much fun! Anyway, thanks S.P. I'm sending a big big cyber hug your way today! and a whole lotta love, Nannyre

I am sorry that yesterday's post was such a downer! My day only got worse. They let 15 more people go today. It is so sad to see especially in this economy!
I hope that today will be a lot calmer. I will respond to e-mails, posts and PM's this evening!
Remember, packages need to be mailed with DC by tomorrow the 15th!

chloe is my cats name ( other than other names i call her at times), puppies are alot of work..
Been awake since 1am with tooth ache lost part of filling.. called dentist office soon as i got off bus and cant get in.. on call list..hope someone cancells..tooth aches stink..will have to take one of tylenol 3 after I get off bus this afternoon.. Glad we have early dismissal..

Well, I guess yesterday was only Tuesday! Oops!
We lost more people at work yesterday and HR is still here for today! I had nightmares all night!
Baby Chloé jumped out of my hands and took a 6 foot dive to the pavement! I am so worried about her!
Sorry I am not so uplifting but I need the hug today! :-(

Had a great day today. Shopping and lunch with my mother. Got more clothes. I am having such a hard time looking at the clothes that I am buying and knowing that they are going to fit. I look at them and think "damn they are tiny, they won't fit". But they do. I'm not buying anything else right now except a new scrub jacket for work. I've got enough to get me through the summer unless there is a major and sudden size change.
Okay - enough rambling. I've got to pack so I can get my early start. Leaving for my son's graduation in the morning. I am bringing a few appropriate food items with me just in case I have trouble finding things to eat. Will be eating out alot for the next five days.
