I hear ya! We go meet my daughter's junior kindergarten teacher on August 25th and it makes me teary to think of Becca going to school in the fall :(
I also hear you on the never-ending laundry!!! Just when I get the clothes in the laundry room caught up, I look at the hampers and cry!!

YIKES, wor****il 1am?  Where do you work?  I hear you about kids growing up?  I don't have any but my first niece will be FOURTEEN next month!  FOURTEEN!   Sniff, Sniff!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone's day is going well. I worked til almost 1 this morning and have to do it again tonight! No Fun! My mom got out of the hospital yesterday and seems to be doing better! So that is good. I had to go yesterday and meet my daughter's preschool teacher. It was great and depressing at the same time. I don' t want her to go! She is my baby...lol. Wait til my other two have to go....then I will ball my eyes out.  Well, gotta run. Time to get the kiddo's dressed for the day and finish laundry, which seems like a neverending task. Eggs and chicken are not agreeing with me which bites the big one.  We keep kosher so there goes the shrimp and beans are all carbs - and not a complete protein unless you add a carb such as rice (yeah, can you tell I'm doing the carb paranoia thing in a big way??? UGH!)

I have an idea about the Appalacian Trail thing.... We have a time share and like to trade to go to either the Poconos  or the Shannendoah Valley in VA.... in the fall maybe we can figure out a convenient week and I can rent the place, go with my family and you guys can come!  In VA there are great places to hike around the Blue Ridge Mountains off of Skyline drive......

I'm around just enough for my family to recognize me - altho my DH last night said (as I was getting naked to change) that he could all of a sudden see I have lost some weight (from where I dunno - I only see it in my face).

Good thing about working the nights is that the kids don't miss me then -- it's just the sleeping with the hubby that gets the short end of that :sigh:.

Good morning everyone! Thought I'd take the opportunity to introduce myself since I'm new this round. I'm Stephanie, 36, married for almost 2 years. We have 2 children together..... Becca just turned 4 and Miles just turned 2. I had rny surgery on Feb 17th of this year and it was the best thing I have ever done for myself!!!

I do home daycare so right now I'm waiting for the rest of the kids to arrive, plus a niece and nephew are coming today...... so I've got a houseful by the time they all get here...LOL! At least it looks like it's going to be nicer weather today.... it's rained so much lately! I love summer, it's my favourite time of year!

I can't wait until Saturday though, a group of us are going ziplining at Camp Fortune in Chelsea, Quebec!
