To ALL Secret Pals! IMPORTANT!!!

Hi Pals! I just wanted to Make this "IMPORTANT" Post!!! I belonged to My"State", PA. Boards, Secret Pal Program. I was SO Disappointed when it was CANCELLED!!!!!! It was Cancelled because of what I am seeing Here. Many Pals were not Getting their Monthly Gifts... Which Means someone was not doing their Part! Many Pals were not Saying Thank You, Or being appreciative.... Which again is Not too much to ask. (It's only ONCE a MONTH!!!) NO-ONE should have to ASK.... Did you receive your Gift??? That is just SAD! COME ON'! You are too Busy to say THANK YOU??? It takes all of 5 Minutes to Say Thank You, And Make your Pal's Day! I really Was SO Happy when I saw the Main Board was Running a Secret Pal Program!!!! But now I am seeing it Is causing ALOT Of People Sadness. This is Not supposed to Be like this! I was talking to a fellow OH Member and she wanted to Join.... But she said it looks more like a HEADACHE Than ANYTHING!!!! NOW THAT MY PAL'S.... IS SAD!!!!! Let's get on the Ball! Secret Pal's.... Ship out your Packages on time... BY The 15th... IF Not before.... The 15th is The LATEST!!!!!!!! PLEASE Use Delivery Confirmation.... It cost 35 cents. This way.... IF your Pal posts that she has not received anything.... YOU can send the Delivery Confirmation # and let them know it's on the way! (Maybe we should make that a RULE??? *YOU Must add Delivery Confirmation to your Package, This way BOTH ends know that the Package WAS delivered, And that they need to do their Part for the Month!) When you get your Package.... YOU should Post a THANK YOU within 24 Hours. It just common Courtesy. PLEASE.... Be appreciative..... Your Pal did their Part, Please....Do Yours! I am Posting this, Because I do not want This Program to END... There are MANY of us doing Our Part... And having ALOT of FUN! For those of you who are Not, Not only are you Missing out on the FUN, You are Making Someone Feel.... VERY SAD! I also do not want this Program to Be Cancelled. DO YOU??? I want it to Grow! But there are Members out there.... Who want to Join, But now think it's a BIG HEADACHE! Nice. We don't want that! We want this to Be FUN!!!!! REALITY CHECK! Where do you want this to Go???? I am so happy that you posted this my pal finally wrote me an email and she told me why she hasn't communcated with me and now we are IM each other please keep the SP going I think that this is great it helps me stay motavated (sp) thanks again Renee (sumo mom)

Hi Renee. I am SO Happy to hear that your Secret Pal contacted You! (This post was worth the Effort!!!) I have heard alot of People say.... They did not receive a Gift, So they did not send anything either.... NOT Fair, 2 Wrongs... Don't make a RIGHT! I belonged to a Secret Pal Program before... And I sent TWO Gift Packages to My Pal, Before I even Heard from who had Me. I felt SO Good Knowing that I made someone SMILE! And WOW.... When I started to Receive Gifts from MY very own Secret Pal, It really felt SPECIAL, Something I was SO Happy to be a Part Of! So I know on both ends how it feels. I also know that the Pal who had Me, After I found out who she was..... Told Me.... She was one of the Unfortunate Pals..... She NEVER once received ONE Gift! SO Sad. Well, That Program is Now OVER! And I am Part of this One. MY Secret Pal is VERY VERY VERY Good to Me. She sends out her THOUGHTFUL Gifts On-Time! She sends Me SPECIAL Secret Pal Cards In The Mail.... And she even Sends Me e-Cards.... Quite Frequently! I do the Same for My Pal. It does not Take Much effort at all. And It Feels SO GOOD!!!!!!! Just Knowing that you are doing your Part.... I look forward to Buying something Special for My Pal, Something that would Bring a SMILE to Their Face. It is SO Rewarding!!!! I also LOVE getting My Package.... Cards, e-Cards.... Just an e-mail that says.... HI! I was Thinking of YOU! It Feels WONDERFUL! It's Funny..... My Family is always Gathered around Me.... HAWKING.... What did Ya Get???? They get excited for Me! I so agree with you IMA. I know sometimes things come up and we forget & find the 15th upon us. But we can still send the gift, it will still lift someone's spirits & make them smile. BTW, I haven't heard from my sp either......Eve

I agree but I've been lucky enuf to have a pal who sends me cards very often in the mail on on line and I've recieved my Feb gift and she said my March gift is on the way. I've also gotten many thank you's from my buddy for the cards and gifts I have sent her. But if I was to be left out I'd be very upset as well. It's supposed to make each other feel good. Not stressed. I'm having a blast with this and LOVE shopping for my pal.

I am glad you posted this. I have not recieved any thank you or even ya I got my present post at all. I have also not recieved my March gift. This is becoming a headache for me. I had hoped it would be fun but so far it is not.

Hey IMA Secret.......... I posted last night about this very subject.....I am glad I'm not the only one who feels this way....I sent my secret pal her package and have emailed her 2 times to see if she recieved it and recieved NOTHING back from her...... I put alot of time and thought into picking things for her that I think she would really like...and I don't think it's asking to much for them to let us know they at least recieved the package.....and a Thank you would be very nice..... I want to see this Secret Pal program work as I know alot of you all do...I don't understand why there are some that always ruin things for others.....If you don't want to do these programs...don't join them....
