My Dad died

My heart has been ripped out & put back with a hole in it!! My Dad died instantly yesterday morning of a massive heart attack at home. I'm not handling this too good. I am/was my Dad's baby girl. My parents had me & my brother (the only boy & the baby) late in live. I'm the 4th child & 4th daughter & have always been his baby girl. I have been sick for the last two weeks & my eating has been almost null. Now this & I didn't yesterday nor did I drink any water. I have no desire to eat. I can't believe my Dad is gone!!!!!!

Betty, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. Please know that I am lifting you and your family up in prayer. I cannot imagine how you are feeling, but I do know that it's important to keep drinking something. You need your strength. I will continue to keep you in prayer. Betty I know how you feel I lost both of my parents when I was young it is very hard but you have to get back on track as your father would want you to take one day at a time and he is now looking over you to make sure that you are doing everything right I will be praying for you remember the good times you had with your father and talk to him he is listen to you other people may think that talking to him is crazy but I do not that is what I did and it helped your friend & Prayers Renee (sumo mom)

Sorry to hear of your loss. I know how you feel. I was a daddy's girl and I felt as if my world had ended. You are in my prayers sweetie. You have to take care of yourself before you end up like I did. I developed a stricture and was extremely dehydrated. Hospitals are no fun sweetie. Try and drink something, even if you are drinking broth and water. Don't do this to yourself, don't give up sweetie! 4EVA

Oh Betty, I am so sad. Please accept my deepest sympothy. Please take care of yourself and drink your water and eat what you must - so you don't get down. You need to be strong to get through this hard time. My prayers are with you. (((BETTY)))

it saddens me to see your post today. i am very sorry for this tremendous loss. i agree that you must force yourself even if only water and broth.dehydration is not pretty and can happen so quickly in our altered bodies. you are in my prayers.

Oh Betty what a awful thing to go through no matter how old or young you are!! My prayers are with you. Please try and drink something and get some food into your system even if it is broth. Both my parents are gone and I still miss them so very much. I agree with the last post that said to talk to your dad he is listening. I talk to my mom who I was the closest to all the time. She has been gone for almost 6 years now. It will make you feel better. Hang in there; life does get better. Remember your dad is in a much better place. God Bless. Laural
