Well.. The mail has come and gone

a not a thing from a secret buddy...but on a bright note.. My husband bought something for me I have been wanting and my son gave me flowers and a balloon from school!! So I have had a good Valentines day!! Renee

I am in the same boat. Not a Peep from my secret buddy. To say I am hurt is an understatement. Despite the best intentions of those who coordinated this, there are people who have "FAILED" to fulfill their part of the bargain. Now I know that technically the 15th was/is the cut off.... but come on...today was Valentines Day..... It hurts to see all the posts from those who did receive something, even the gal who I sent a Secret Buddy posted that she received it..... I am going to stick it out for a couple of more days, then I will just assume that the individual who got me as their buddy just doesn't care..... I imagine that I am speaking for others who are in the same situation.....

As of yesterday, I was also out of the loop. I hope this would be a good experience, but I will give it a few more days to judge...

Hey yall... I too havent heard from my secret buddy. No note, no email, no posts, and not my gift!! IM NOT CRYING!!!! Nobody said that you had to get your gift by Valentines... heck, you didnt even HAVE to get it in the mail UNTIL TODAY!!!!!! Sometimes, people dont get checks until the 15th...maybe they needed that extra day, heck, I dont even have a job, lost it in July, and my hubby is disabled and it has taken me time to scrape up a little extra cash for my buddy....YOU HAVE UNTIL THE 22 TO RECEIVE YOUR GIFT... please just sit back, and take a deeeep breath... then if you dont get it, just let Jackie know and I am sure she will get you a new buddy! Furthermore, this is the first month... its going to take a little time to work out stuff!!!! ~Tammy

Disappointment doesn't equal crying!! I had a great Valentines Day..my son won a recipe contest at school, we had a great party..my DH gave me a cd I had been wanting to go with the new recurve bow he bought me.. I understand financial issues..but when you signed up for this you knew that it have some cost. An e card can be had for free as well as a dummy account to send it from. Since Valentines day is a holiday a note to say hello would have been nice. I am also more disappointed that the person I am a buddy too hasn't posted about the items I sent. Renee

I never said that you were crying.. I said I wasnt... because I know that sometimes good things come to those who wait..... I did know that there was money involved.... what difference does that make? I just said that I had to scrape together money...aaaaaand that it took me until today (the cut off day) to get my present off to my SB. I hadnt heard from the buddy I bought a gift for, I had sent several email cards to her... still nothing...I worked to get in touch with her....I still havent heard from the person that was supposed to get a gift for me....if I dont get one... I am sure I will next time... Its better to give, than receive.. thats what I was tought.... Congrats on your business......we all cant be so lucky.... ~Tammy
