Kim ya know what you are "that special." God has singled you out and has allowed this life saving surgery to be your reality. Our heavenly father loves each of us enough to be by each of our sides anytime we need him. Everyone has their own agenda and I am sure your friend didn't realize she was spilling her agenda out on you. But remember there is fear in the unknown and once you are on the losing side you become the unkown. God will hold your hand with his left hand and guide your surgeon with his right.
