I don't get it!

So I'm looking around the forums and stumble across this board.  But I don't get it!

What are secret pals / what's this board about?

Secret pals are assigned every 3 months.  As a pal you are required to buy the person assigned to you a gift of at least $10 every month and contact that person several times a week.  The whole idea is to support each other.  You can use snail mail, PM or email to make contact.  You will have one person assigned to you and you will be assigned to someone else.  That way you make 2 new friends every 3 months.

We are glad to have new people, but, only sign up if you are committed to do what is expected of you as we have had to drop several people for not holding up their end of the deal.

We will be assigning new pals the end of September so watch the board for notices of when sign up time is.

I'll be watching for new secret pals. I don't have surgery until Oct. 2009. Hopefully by then I have an pal.
