Friday August 14 -- Care and Share
Hi All! It's a bright sun shiny day here in Upstate NY.
Things are going well. The scale is moving in the right direction for a change. Not sure what I am doing different but it's working. It isn't as fast as it was in the begining but I'll take it.
Right now I am simmering oranges on the stove for Orange Marmalade. Also made apply jelly. Burned the strawberry jam. I forgot how easy it is to do that. That's what I get for trying to do too much at once.
And if anyone needs a hug, this is for you!

I just got back from getting a chest x-ray because I've been having pain in my collarbone area. My surgeon doesn't think it's anything surgery related but my PCP wants to rule out a leak. Hopefully I'll get the results back soon.
The weather here is amazing!! It's so sunny and hot, I love it!! This would be perfect swimming weather :)

{{{{HUGS}}}} for Stephanie. Hope it goes well. How are they going to check for leaks? Hopefully not surgically. Maybe some kind of endoscopy or X-ray? Do they think it is the pouch or remnant stomach that may be leaking?

Thanks Deb! They're checking by the chest x-ray but I'm not sure when I'll have the results. Anything to do with a radiologist is usually pretty slow in this area. My PCP didn't say anything about where the leak would be, he just said that he wanted to rule it out. I feel great otherwise though. I'll keep you guys posted as things happen...... hopefully it's figured out soon!

Deb, I am so glad that you are seeing the scales move again. I know you were frustrated. I get frustrated each month but I know the pattern each month and it is always the same pattern so why do I continue to get frustrated each month? ROFLOL!
I envy you! I would love to make homemade anything but I never have! Good for you!
