Anyone care to share about any struggles they are having right now re: the Surgery?

Its going to be in the upper 70's here today!  I am sooo loving this weather!

My struggles are:  battling the same pound up & down for the last week ... hopefully the scales move soon.

AND ... it's warm out, I have 3 kids who LOVE icecream ... Denny's ice cream shop is always a big hit for everyone in the summer.  So, going there & not tasting anything is unheard of ... so instead of tasting my kids' blizzard or sundae, I get a baby cone of strawberry frozen yogurt & eat just the top off (about an oz) & it satisfies me :)  BUT, its going to get tougher this summer with picnics, I just don't want to think about it lol.

It was gorgeous here today!  PERFECT! 

I  too am battling the same few pounds!  It is driving me crazy!  Can't wait for the scales to move down again a little!  :-)

I have not gone the icecream route yet but I am sure that it will happen sooner or later!

Loving the weather!  Rode my motorsickle to work today!  Good Cajun land weather.

Struggles-- I have an on-going love-hate relationship with the scale.  I can't stay off of it and I have never liked what I see.  For the past couple of weeks I have especially hated it.  No weight loss since my hospital stay (4-6 pounds that week).  A gain of 4 pounds since then.  I have since incorporated more movement and less calories for some change in the numbers.  Still, I wouldn't change my life for anything!  This is the greatest adventure I've been on in a very very long time! 

I mailed my S.P.'s package last week and checked the status and it is on it's way to her.  Hope she enjoys it.

I think we are all going to hit these dreaded pateaus.  I think that we just need to hang in there!  Not get frustrated and keep following the right path!  :-)  I frequented McDonalds, yes I said it, McDonalds, last week.  I have no problem eating it and that is BAD!  I REALLY need to go back to basics!  I think that mentally I am not allowing myself to get to 299!  Grrr!
