Good Morning all of you wonderful and beautiful pals!

As I sit here typing, seeing my arm flab flapping in the breeze, I am thinking --- Better to have arm flab then be 445 pounds! 

If something is getting you down, try to think of the positive side to it!

Hubby lost his job --- we get to spend more time together.
I have hanging skin --- I feel so much better.
My hair is falling out --- takes less time to blow dry!

See something positive for every not so fun situation!

As of today I have offically lost 50% of my excess weight! I had 144lbs to lose and I have lost 72lbs today!!!!

I am only 3lbs away from onderland! I want it so so bad that I can taste it!!!

Anyways.....

SUPER job, Kandice!  4 more pounds and I have lost the 50%!  13 more and I will be 299!  I can't wait!  :-)

Hope to see you on Sunday but it may be the only day we can get our mechanic to work on the car!  :-(

Hello super pals,

I feel the same way about the hanging skin.  Better that than the extra 150 lbs I was carrying around.  I am a new person and I have lost a whole person.

Everyday is a new lease on life since the surgery and a healthier one at that.

As of right now, today, here is my list.... as macabre as it may seem....

Am mid-miscarriage - D&C tomorrow ---  Won't have to wait 2 years (for baby and to stop nursing) to submit for revisional DS

Insurance will change from Empire BCBS on May 1 --- Changing to Aetna which seems to be a very DS/bariatric surgery friendly company

Have to wait an additional couple of weeks to submit for surgery due to insurance change --- Gives me a few more weeks to work more overnights so I can put money away for recovery week after surgery since I don't get any paid time off

That's all I can come up with off the top of my head and again, it's my weird sense of humor I'm sure (who else can find the silver lining in a miscarriage....).
