Can you believe that it is April 19th already?
I had a super busy day yesterday and slept 10 hours last night. I really needed it as this "cold" is still lingering!

Today I'm off to the school track for a good walk. I'm finding it too hard to walk on the roads around here. Shoulders too narrow and too many potholes. I'm either going to get hit by a car or trip.
I'm doing this after I watch a bike race go past our house. It's called The Tour of the Battenkill. Apparently it's a big deal in the bike racing world. So big that Floyd Landis (won Tour de France) will be in it today. Here's a link to the web site if anyone is interested: http://www.tourofthebattenkill.com/
Afterwards it's shopping in Saratoga. I've got to start looking for a new dress for my son's graduation next month. The one I had bought is way too big. If I feel up to it, I may do some mall walking too.
And to top it all off, my daughter announced her engagement tot he rest of the family last night. Summer of next year for the wedding. I couldn't have timed the start of my wieght loss journey any better.

Good to see you here, Debbie. How exciting that you get to see a bike race. I used to watch La Tour each year when Lance was still in it. I do recall hearing about Floyd.

It has been a rough weekend for me as well. For those of you *****ad my post on the Cali board on Friday will understand what I am talking about..
I am still weak, and am calling my PCP tomorrow to try and get some more answers, so for now, I just pray that things don't get worse..

I just got back from taking the kiddos to see Hotel for Dogs ... twas so cute!
I am still in a funk with this weight loss since I came back from vacation. Still trying to get it moving again! I start my exercise routine back up tomorrow, so hopefully it will kick into gear!
Tomorrow I will be 12 weeks out from surgery! I can't believe it's been that long! You can finally start to tell that I have lost a little weight ... only took 60 lbs LOL. I feel good and can't wait for summer to get here so I can walk walk walk, I love to walk, but hate the cold! HOpe everyone had a great weekend!

Joanne - thank you so much for the offer, but she is currently planning a very casual event so I don't think a gown is going to be the way for me to go. And my son's graduation is also a very informal affair. The dinner we are having is at a steak house. I do so appreciate the offer tho.
Renee- that's exactly what I plan to do. I figured the early past of the week before the graduation I'll look for a dress, since it's informal I'm sur ethat I will be able to find something pretty quick that I can also wear to work. My walk was great. I did two miles at the track. Watching the race was great. Turned out the Floyd Landis didn't make it becaue of an injury, but I didn't know that til I got home. Still exciting tho.
