What is Secret Pals??

Hi,
I am waiting for approval for RNY surgery. What are the requirements for Secret Pals? What do you do?
I live in Utah.

Pals run quarterly.  Next sign up will be on March 15th.  For the Second Quarter, Rona will be your coordinator. :-)

You are required to e-mail, snail mail and post to your pal (VERY important --- do not sign up if you cannot commit to this!). 

Also, once a month send your pal a gift by the 15th of the month of at least $10.00 in value.  :-)

so, anyone participating is required to email, snail mail and post (what is post?) to their secret pal how often?
If you are doing secret pals, emailing, snail mail and so forth, do you get that from a different person?

Yes, e-mail (little ditties, e-cards, etc)...snail mail...a card here and there...and put a post here on the forum if you have a secret name (that one is a little harder to do).  Yes, you have someone and someone different has you.  It is up to you if you want to keep it secret.  Hope this helps.  I think the Perfect Pal would touch base at least every other day.   You can do e-cards months out!  :-)  Also the $10.00 gift.

Like what kind of gifts have people sent before? I know around $10 but just curious for some ideas before I sign up! Thanks for your time!
