Being Dropped from the Program...

I need you all to know that we do not drop people just because we feel like it.  :-)

The rules were, no gift by the end of the month (unless we heard from you with a reason) then you would be dropped.  

There has to be strict rules with something like this.   I am sorry if you were/are going to be dropped but rules are rules.

Renee' here's a hug right back atcha!  Yours is a hard job.  It is presumed when people sign up to play a game (or sport or whatever) that they will follow the rules.  It is a given.  When someone doesn't play by the rules, they must be outed in all fairness to the rest of the team/players.  As a S.P. who has purposed to be a SUPER S.P., it is quite discouraging to find empty mailbox day after day.  It costs nothing or very little to put forth the effort.  A post to the main board, an e-card, a letter or card by snail mail and that once a month box of goodies is the fun part of being a secret pal.  I commend you for a job well done.  And have determined to be one of your biggest (well not biggest) cheerleaders! The thought that you have such a challenge and don't even get to have or be a secret pal while doing this seems a bit unfair to me.  We have to figure out how to include you next time. Yes, I agree.  I KNOW that things do happen!  I totally understand this.  We do not get angry when someone has to back out...we understand that stuff happens.  I just know how it feels to be on "the wrong end" so I want to make sure that it is perfect for all involved!  :-)

I too agree as Im sure most everyone else does too. I didnt sign up for the gifts and the thought of what money would be spent on me. I signed up to gain friends, gain support and to give support. While the gifts are nice and I have fun buying for my SP, its just nice to know that someone is keeping track of my progress and cares enough to comment on it or offer advice when I may need it.

So if you arent going to participate FULLY, then do everyone involved a favor and bow out gracefully or dont sign up at all. Wait until you can commit to it 100%, it will be more fun for you and your SP if you do.
