A Few Suggestions
There has already been a couple of lost packages in the mail. PLEASE, when you mail out your gift, get a tracking number. This way, we can trace the package if it happens to get lost in the mail. Also, keep in touch with your secret pal. Send them a quick email from time to time. This isnt just about giving gifts, its also a means of support for each other and a way to make a new friend along the way. When you receive your gift, ALWAYS thank your secret pal for the gift. Let them know that you received it. You can do this in the secret pal forum or if you have been emailing each other, you can send them a quick email. I know we all lead busy lives but a few quick minutes to say hello or to acknowledge and thank your sender means so much to a person. I know we got a late start last month and I apologize for that. Lets all try to have our gifts mailed out this month by the 15th. If for some reason you cant get it mailed out by the 15th, simply email me at [email protected] and let me know. I understand that things happen beyond our control sometimes. I will help you out in any way I possibly can. All you have to do is ask. When you get your gift mailed out each month, I am asking that you PLEASE send me an email and let me know that it has been sent. I am trying my best to keep a monthly list and mark people off of the list when they inform me that they have mailed out their gift. If I make a mistake and send you an email after you have let me know that your gift has been sent, please dont get offended. Sometimes (OK ALOT OF TIMES) I tend to get a bit scatter brained. I dont want anyone to think that I am trying to pick on them. I am just trying to keep up with who is sending gifts and who isnt. I truly apologize to anyone that didnt receive a gift for the month of May. I am doing my best to weed out those that arent going to send their gifts out. If I contact you and tell you that your secret pal assignment has been changed, dont take it personally. Someone might have chose to drop out of the program for personal reasons or I may have to drop someone for not complying with the rules. I am still new at overseeing all of this and still learning. If you have any suggestions on how the program can run better, dont hesitate to email me. I am always open for suggestions.
