Secret Pal Agreement

By signing up for OH Secret Pals program, you are committing yourself to an assigned pal for 4 months. You are expected to send your assigned pal a gift equaling 10.00 or more, before shipping, ON or BY the 15th of each month.  If for any reason you find yourself in a situation where you can no longer participate in the program, PLEASE contact me, Marla Mayberry, IMMEDIATELY at [email protected] and I will remove you If a pal does not receive a gift for that month and I was not made aware of it, I will drop that person off the program without explanation. Rules are rules and I expect everyone of you to abide by the rules.  All gifts should be received by the end of the month regardless of location.  If you have not received your gift by the 1st of the following month, please contact me so that I can contact your sender. If you havent received acknowledgement from the person you are sending the gift to, please contact me at [email protected].  I understand we lead busy lives but all it takes is a couple of minutes to log on and post a thank you note. Please send the package with tracking information so that you know that the package was received. If 7 days have passed and you have not received and acknowledgement, then let me know.  This is a violation of the rules.   If you have not sent your gift out by the 15th and have a valid reason for the delay, you MUST contact me by the 15th so that your pal can be made aware of the situation.  I understand that we all have times that money is tight and sudden expenses come up.  You must contact me and let me know, I am more than willing to work with you as long as you are abiding by the program rules.  If you have not contacted me and your pal has not received their package by the 1st of the following month, you will be IMMEDIATELY removed and a new secret pal will be assigned as soon as another one is available. I promise to do my best to make this program run as smoothly as possible but I have a no tolerance rule if you do not keep up your end of the bargin. If you do not fullfill your committment then you will be IMMEDIATELY removed from the program.  This is a great program.  I have been involved in it for several months and have made some great new friends and recieved some great gifts that I will always treasure.  Like many others,  I have been jilted in a few gifts but that never stopped me from giving my gift to my secret pal.  You never know when someone is having a really bad time and a simple gift in the mail might just make their day or week.  Always remember that its much more blessed to give than to recieve.  If you are having  trouble please contact me and I will do everything I can to help you resolve the matter.  I have fallen on hard times myself a few times and couldnt afford to send a gift for that month but I always contacted my secret pal and let them know the cir****tances and promised them double for the next month.  They always understood.  There are ways around things without having to break your promise to someone.  Always let me know what is going on before you decide to stop the program or just disappear.
