Gift cards appropriate??

Hello all my wonderful OH friends and family!! I have a quick question that I would love a response from, from everyone well most of you.... Gift Cards, if you know your buddy likes a certain store, or a certain site do you think it is appropriate to give just a gift card(note or card attached of course)? I've often wondered this and did not want to seem impersonal, because our buddies are so special. Please let me know your response, I am really curious on this subject. Thank You!!!! Hi Sondra,   As long as you keep in touch with your pal by sending a nice card a letter of encouragement it is fine. You can put it in a nice gift bag with a lot of tissue paper and make it exciting to find it or even a nice card as long as you make it personal it is always great to receive a  gift card.

I personally think a gift card would be a cool gift, to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Starbucks, actually anywhere considering how fast we go through clothes, shoes, and etc.... Gift Cards ROCK!!


201 pounds lost since surgery!! And I'm 2 1/2 inches taller too!!

And YES I still eat Carbs and Fats but I know what portion control is!!

I love gift cards. When I was in the SP program, my pal sent me a gift card to Walmart for Christmas. I was so happy. I took it and the one DH gave me and went shopping. I love shopping now. I think if your pal likes gift cards then go for it and get her one.

Sondra, My secret pal sent me several gift cards last year and I absolutely LOVED them.  She asked me which stores I really enjoy and was so sweet to send me gift cards to those stores.  I felt like that was extremely thoughtful. Enjoy, Wanda
