Thanks SP for the iTunes giftcard!!  I plan to design a set of good music for when I'm using my new recumbant machine!  Unfortunately, I don't have an iPod, so my niece will need to help me figure out how to convert the tunes for my mp3 player, but I'm hoping it won't be a big task  I'm having some tests done this week and am scheduled for exploratory surgery on Feb 19th. I don't believe my problems are related to the weight-loss surgery because the area where I'm having pain has been noticable since 2006, and I had my WLS in Sep 2007. We are hoping that it's just scar-tissue from my 2005 hysterectomy, but it could be a hernia too. That's why it's called exploratory, I guess     Please hold positive thoughts for me during this little "bump" in my journey.  I'm on vacation from my day-job this week and today (after my surgeon appt) I went and had a facial makeover done by a friend. She's a cosmetics specialist and made me feel all beautiful, both inside and out     I've never worn much makeup because I hated drawing attention to myself in that way, but today changed my morning routine forever!!  I went home with $150 worth of makeup and facial care products. She gave me a very natural look -- just enhanced a bit and it was very easy!  She's going to call me to come back in February for a before & after contest that they are running. I'm  touched that my friends are so involved with my weight-loss journey and transformation   --- you included!   I hope you're receiving the same support and positive feedback from your friends and family. There's nothing quite like a great support system! Gheez, this started out being a simple "thank you" and has turned into a novel!   Anyway, thanks again. You are a very sweet secret and I'm thankful you are in my life Feel free to e-mail me anytime you need support in return!     xo   ~ Kim

Hi Kim: I am so glad you got my gift this month -- finally :-(.  It has been a crazy month!  I am so happy to hear you enjoyed the music card.  I wasn't sure what type of MP3 player you had.  I have an iPod, but my husband does not.  I happen to know you can convert the songs to MP3 and put them on your player.  I will try and remember how I did that :-) Your make over sounds wonderful and I can't think of a more deserving person!  I'm glad it made you feel beautiful on the inside and out because you are -- truly a beautiful, special lady. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  Please keep us all posted regarding your exploratory surgery.  I am glad to be in your circle of friends :-) Take care -- Your SP
