The End of the Year...

Well, I can't believe a year has past.  Last year 'bout this time, I signed up to be a secret pal.  I was given a person to shop for and I started receiving packages in the mail.  The program had some ups and downs - but for those of us "IN" it, we kept trudging along hoping the program would get some one in charge who could keep it alive (looks like Cira has done just that - thanks!).  But, for my own reasons, I have not signed up to continue, so I have received my final gift, and I have sent my final gift - and that makes me a little bit sad.  Perhaps things will settle down in my life, and I can join back in at some point...it IS so much fun to come home from work and find a box on the porch!  So much fun... My pal was Alfy1965 and if she continues to play, someone will be a very lucky person.  She shops wonderfully, and is NEVER late.  To her, I wish all the happiness she can stand.  Such a darling of a girl. The pal I was shopping for was LeahRoman.  Unfortunately, we didn't have chance to communicate much, but should you read this Leah - I had a ball shopping for you.  I hope you enjoyed my gifts.  I tried to be creative, and I tried to follow your wishlist suggestions (its HARD sometimes).  I truly enjoyed playing secret pal to you.  Thank you for joining in and allowing me to do so.  I also wish for you much love and happiness and successes this year. I know what you mean abotu the financial situation I have been there and it is such a hard bump on the road to cross.
