someone name Yolanda R. on the Main Forum that has started her own Secret Pal program.  She is not helping me with this program and I had no idea she was doing this.  

I don't want anyone from here to email her thinking you are in her program.  Don't get me wrong if you want to jon with her that is fine.  But I definitely do not want to get any missed communications because you are contacting the wrong person.  I only post about the secret pal program in this forum.  


Please be adviced of what's going on.

I don't understand why she is doing that.  I can't argue her right to do it however...but I also can't help but think its only going to make things hard and confusing for those involved.  She seems a little defensive about it - I asked her if she was doing some thing different from you, and the responses (not directly to me) seemed short and defensive.  Odd.  I chose to not answer - she can do what she wants.  I hope, however, that it doesn't further degrade the efforts put out by people in this program.  I have, for the moment, decided not to continue with secret pals (not because of the program, but my personal situation) - but it is a great program, and I hope that you CIRA can run it smoothly, and that the folks who sign on have as much fun with it as I have had with it this year.

Yes she was defensive with me too.  It doesn't really matter to me that she has that way of communication.   I am hoping that everyone who has joined with me sees this post so there isn't any confusion.   Thanks!  I will try my very best to make the program successful as before.  Now that all depends on the people who joins they need to keep their committments. I surely can not make anyone do something that they are not willing to finish out.   All I can hope for is a great quarter on this go around.  

so, i am confused, i just wanted to join the main secret pal forum. which one would that be? and what all is involved? thought it would be a little fun and take a little tension off the newness of losing weight and all. angelicangels

I am sorry you are confused.  I will try to explain it to you.  This secret pal program has been here for a good long time.  It has gone from one hand to another for the past year.  The program had not been going too good for a while because the person who was in charge had to leave do to family emergencies.  I took it over to continue the program since it is a great program to be in.    Everyone who has joined it before and now has always been directed to this secret pal forum so we don't clog up the main forum or miss crucial information & postings. It just so happens that Yolanda has decided to do her own secret pal program.  Nothing to do with this one that was here before.   You can join which ever one you want.  I see that you posted to Yolanda asking to join. I hope she posted back to you. This is the reason why I posted this post here so that those that have joined through here do not get confused with the new one Yolanda just started. Thanks for your inquiry and I hope I didn't make you more confused.
