Chris, I cannot imagine what a handful this was for you, but you did an awesome job.  I don't know if I ever told you, but I appreciate everything you did when you were heading it up. 

It's so sad when people sign up for wonderful things like this and then they bail.  I've been on OH for almost a year and never knew this forum existed.  I was so excited that I sent an email begging to join. lol I hope someone takes this over because this is just such a wonderful idea.  I'd love to be a part of it.

Hi everyone. I haven't gotten a gift in many months but I have continued to send to my pal. She is absolutely wonderful. It is extremely frustrating though when this is the 2nd or 3rd pal I have had that didn't follow through with their commitment. Beth (TexasBlue) did respond to me a couple of weeks ago to let me know that she heard from my pal and that she was sending my gift, but I still haven't gotten anything. When Anissa was doing this and started to have things going on I offered to help, but never got a response. I would love to help out with this. Personally, I think it would be easier to somehow break it up (ie: People with last names beginning letters A-F would be handled by person #1, People with last names G-L by person #2, etc... or however many people we had who volunteered to help would be how we split up the letters.) It is just too much for one person. The group of leaders working on the list could then monitor their group better to be able to address problems as they arise and be able to assign new pals as needed. I believe with proper communication and team work this program could be a wonderful experience for EVERYONE involved. There just has to be a better way. I hope it gets fixed soon. Jenifer

I'd be willing to work on coordinating - along with a couple of others  - I like the idea of splitting it up - that way, the coordinators could have secret pals and not know who was sending them gifts... If you are interested, PM me...
