about to give up

its almost the first of OCT and still nothing!!! no word from texas. I hope shes okay.. can someone contact her?

I think this will be my last go round with this.  I have always sent my secret pal something that I thought she would like and I hope she did.  I have been very disappointed this time.  I have to say though that last year, I had the best.  I truly miss her and whomever has her this year is blessed by her, I am sure.  I will finish the year, but after that, I think I will stop.  I hope everyone has a great weekend. 

This is her email addy. If you get a response let us know. I haven't recieved a gift in 4 months now and my pal I send to didn't even acknowledge that she got hers. I even emailed her and still nothing. I'm considering dropping out. I've been sending for close to a year anyway. [email protected]. 

I was having issues with the lady I sent gifts to.  I would try to make all her packages special and I did not get any response from for 5 months. I sent her the last package in August and I told Texas blues eyes that I was done.  I am a stay at home Mom and the money I was shelling out a month for someone who did not even care was outrageous.  I could have used that for my kids instead.  You know what I mean?    I really miss kay Layton she was my pal and she was wonderful. Very sweet, supportive and always lighted up my days when I got her gifts.   I am sure that whomever has her now is totally having a wonderful time. I am sorry you have not received any word or a gift for the past 4 months.  I think this secret pal thing needs to really get reassembled and maybe putting a cap on how many can participate for a quater would be easier to keep tabs on and keep everyone in check. I would love to help Texasblueeyes but I haven't heard from her and I hope and pray all is well with her.

I just sent an email to her addy so time will tell.  I just let her know we miss her and hope everything is ok in her world.

Yeah, i've sent 3 gifts now, and have not received one.  I love sending tho... but i don't really want to keep sending and sending without ever receiving.  I'm just so bummed... and i hope Beth is okay (Texas Blue eyes)...

I to would have to say it is very dissapointing because I have not recieved in 3 months! But I will stick it out and still send to my pal because I made a commitment that I plan on following through with. It makes it worse when I understand the world of finatial difficulty raising 4 and on disablitly it makes it very very hard!  I truely hope things are ok with texasblueyes and my prayers are with her and her family!  Linda R

I havent even got started yet! I thought this sounded so fun. and it looks like there are a few other newbies wanting to join. I want to shop.. especially because its the season coming up. I dont know.. if no one hears from her is someone else going to take over? I dont want anyone to drop out ..

Coming from someone who ran this for several months it can get very frustrating. On one hand you have people who want to join for the true reasons of giving and also receiving but then you have the few immature ones who solely join for the receiving. I got so frustrated that I was getting depressed opening my emails. People dropping out almost every week and people who were *****ing about not getting their gifts but then you hear from the pal who was supposed to get a gift from them and they say "oh I didn't know I was supposed to send a gift too. These people are all supposed to be adults and each of us who VOLUNTEERS to do this can not force tham to send gifts. Unfortunately when I took it over was because the first leader just disappeared, then I handed it off to Anissa and she has disappeared and now know one hears from Texas. I too hope she is ok and not just frustrated. Good luck Brienicole in getting and being a pal. WHen people are in it for the right reasons it really is fun. HUgs, Chris
