What are the rules of a Secret Pal?

I am new on the board and will be getting my surgery in the next month (Self-pay).  I have had a couple of friends have the surgery and told me that support groups are a priority, but since my doctor does not offer that, I will be depending a lot on OH.  Anyways, just interested in finding out about the SP program and what it takes to be involved. Hi Deb, You will want to get a message to *texasblueeyes* and let her know you are interested in the program.  You will fill out a questionaire about yourself so that when you are signed up with a pal they will know your likes and dislikes, and lots more.  The more info you provide the better for your pal when they go shopping!  As for when you shop for your pal, you are supposed to purchase your gift(s) and mail them by the 15th of the month.  Each gift is to be a MINIMUM of $10.00 - but you can spend more than that if you want.  And most of all, enjoy  yourself!!
