I got my pal just need info

I'am new to this just got my pal August 16th. I received all of my pals info but by what date do we have to send things off I planned on doing the 14 of September just got a new job and hours hard to get to post office is this ok.

I think the rule is that you should mail your package by the 15th of each month, to ensure it arrives before the end of the month.  I know many folks have been a little late (including myself) - but just post a note on the boards here that you are a couple days behind so your pal knows you didn't bail on the program (create an anonymous account - like "Sarah'sPal" or something...so no one knows who you are!! my post office has a machine now that will take a credit card and weigh the package for correct postage, etc...I don't ever go when its open anymore!  I have to go to the "main" office to do this - but its worth it to not have to wait for their hours to match mine.  You might check and see if your post office has the same thing!
