Guidelines

Hi, I am new to this forum.  I have a pal and need to know all the guidelines.  I got a lot of answers yesterday but didn't know that I am supposed to send out a gift every month.  Does this run from July to the next July?  I have to work this week so I will be sending out my gifts for July and August this weekend.  Is there anything else I need to know?  Thanks
