Very Confused!

Why was I dropped from the secret pal group?  I sent my gifts on time.  I even sent a double gift for March and April since I new I would be traveling in April and wanted to make sure my pal got her gift.  I was never notified that I was going to be dropped.  I am very disappointed :(

Kelly, Anissa never meant to keep anyone from rejoining when she redid the pals.  She asked for us to reemail her when ever there was some problems occureing with those who had pals that werent sending out gifts. Did you hear about that before your travels?  I think most people got to keep theres and new ones were assigned to others.  I am sure if you email her your information she will get you back out on the next month.  You are not the only one that got lost in teh shuffel--but I am sure she is doing the best she can with what she has to deal with.  Shoot her a PM and see if she can help you out. Yes, I understand completely how you feel.  I too am very disappointed in the way things went down.  I don't get on the actual secret pal forum very often because I have a secret pal account that I was sending notes to my pal thru.  Apparently Annissa sent out a note in March telling everyone not to send gifts for March and to reply to the questionaire again or they would be dropped.  So, you must not of responded and neither did I so we were dropped.  It's one big mess so....I'm done. Please do not be angry with Anissa....Imagine how hard it is to run a program with approximately 200 people in it and the few people who pretend to be in it and never send out their gifts. Anissa took over the program from me because I was getting numerous emails from people complaining they were not receiving gifts and then low and behold I would receive a message from the one they were spposed to be sending to, that they were not getting their gifts either. It was a vicious cycle. You also had the ones who didn't send gifts and then would give you a sob story about finances or whatever new reason they could think of. But these same people received gifts from the person that was buying for them. Yes I undstand things can happen and come up but why didn't they forward the gift to their pal so their pal was not left out? It was so frustrating because we did this to build friendships and not cause problems. I totally understand why Anissa did what she did. Kuddo's to her for having the guts to do it. She didn't drop you guys completly. You can rejoin for the next month. I just ask you try to see this from Anissa's point of view. She is Volunteering her time and it is very nice of her....Hope this helps you understand. Hugs Chris

I am not mad or anything... just never received an email from anyone and I do not get on regularly to the pals board so when I saw this it was distrubing.  At this point, I would rather not participate.

I appreciate her efforts but like many others, we don't visit the secret pal forum on a regular basis.  It would of been nice if something had been posted on the main board for several days in a row or by the administrators at the top so everyone knew there were issues and could have followed thru.  I personally was in the process of making a personalized gift for my sp and now have no use for it.  I will go ahead and send it to her but I don't think the thought process behind the program was thought thru.  I do appreciate your efforts as well as Anissa's but will choose not to participate at this time. She did post on the main board.  I'm sorry things got messed up and some people got dropped...but I'm sure she's doing the best she can do.  I can't even imagine attempting to take on this program.   Remember the purpose is to make a friend.  Hopefully you did.
