Cant win for tryin'?
Ok I need to make it clear that the Secret Pals Forum is about having fun, a place for us to meet new friends and enjoy ourselves. Lately however, it hasnt been. There have been far too many posts/PMs/Emails complaining, arguing and being downright mean. I have done my best to explain myself and the actions that I had to take to straighten out the program. I did the best I could with the information I had. If I didnt get your email, its not something that was in my control. None of you that were removed from the program, were removed for personal reasons, so please dont take it that way. If you did remain in the program but were assigned a new pal although you requested to keep your old one.. I am sorry for that as well. However, I could not chase down your pals and ask them to re-add themselves. Regardless, its not the end of the world.. we're forgetting the entire purpose of the program.. We're here to make friends! So look at it this way; you get to make ANOTHER friend because of the program, and doing so doesnt mean you have to give up the friendship with your previous pal, whether they are in the program or not.
I also want to thank everyone who has been understanding and appreciative during this whole mess... its you few that have kept this program running, because quite frankly.. without you WANTING this; it probably would have ended before it even started.
Perhaps we should have kept the same pals assigned once we started the new year in 2007 and there wouldnt have been such a mix up.. but I am glad to say that its still early in the year and there is still lots of time for us to enjoy the program!
If anyone has any other questions or concerns, Id appreciate it if you'de email me and we can discuss it off of the boards. I will do whatever I can to get you back into the program.

Anissa, I would not want to be in your shoes. I understand that it is hard to keep up with so many people. I don't mind having a new pal. I will enjoy shopping for her as much as the last 2 I had. For me it's all about giving. I really don't care who I give to as long as I get to give to someone. I love the excite ment of going shopping and thinking 'I bet she would like that' and then getting to send it to her. My new pal has alot in common with me, shopping has been just as fun. It's not fair for everyone to be so mean when you try so hard. If anyone thinks they can do better then maybe they should have volunteered when Ladybugmom asked for someone to take over. I think you are doing the best you can and I appreciate your efforts. Thanks for keeping the program alive.
