Too much or not enough??

I'm just curious.  I read the thank you's on here, and it seems like some people GET a lot of great stuff!!  Maybe you guys are just great shoppers, but I'm wondering if everyone sticks to the $10  rule....it is $10, right??   I just don't want my pal to feel cheated!! Hope I don't offend by asking, but WOW, just sounds like some people get TONS and Tons of good stuff!!  I want to be in the ball park.  I know its not a competition....I know, I just don't want my pal to be disappointed....

Hi Princess, Thanks for posting this! I've been a little nervous about this too. I'm also on a secret pal list on another forum, and they seem to really go above and beyond. I'm sticking pretty close to the limit of $10, maybe a little over now and then, but I've decided to go with the old saying: it's the thought that counts! I do send lots of cards and e-cards too, and that's either free or pretty cheap. Let's see how others answer....

my understanding is you must spend AT LEAST $10.00 per month not county shipping no limit as to how much you can spend....but it must be at least $10.00

Criminy!  If we included shipping...they'd never get anything!! 

That's right.  At least $10 has to be spent on your secret pal, but you can spend $100 is you'd like.  There are some months were I find a lot of things my secret pal would like and others that I'm searching at the last minute.  But never less than $10 goes in a package.  Hope this helps you and your secret pal have a great year. i know i do at least $10, but i always say, dont spend less than what you paid for shipping! :)

Ok, thanks everyone for your honesty!!  I guess it just depends on what ya find while shopping!!  Good to know...I really do just want my pal to be happy with her prizes!  And NOT feel like she "gave" more than she received (and I know its not about what you can "get", but I also know sometimes we all feel a little ripped off...)
