A Word to a Secret Pal

I have a bit of advice to all of the secret pals....the givers and the receivers... When you get a gift..at least let the person know by a post that you received it...even if you didn't like it..let them know you got it... I have sent 3 gifts to my secret pal of Nov and Dec and never heard the first word if they hated the things I sent, if they liked it and if they even received it. I know the Christmas gift was received because I got a confirmation from UPS...I think I am a pretty good person to have as a secret pal but it does hurt some when the person can't take 5 mins to let me know they received the gift. I would rather the person hate what I sent than never knowing it at all...I have to admit I am glad I got another Secret Pal for 2007! Okay...my venting is over.. Happy New Year Everyone!!

I couldn't agree more!! The entire point of this program is to make new friends, and to do that.. there should be SOME communication between the participants. I hope we all will make lasting friendships this year! ~Anissa
