hey sally j!
i just read your profile to see what you've been up to. sounds like you've been busy, but i'm concerned about your back pain? make sure and get that checked out. like you said, you don't want to have anything done in an emergency! and you definitely don't want to ruin your vacation. i have irregular weight loss, too. seems like a couple of losing weeks and a couple of non-losing ones a month. it doesn't matter i guess, it all works out in the end. well, take care of yourself and keep up the good work. protein, water and exercise!
your secret buddy
Thanks for the email. I called the program director--gall bladder is on the right side not left, so that is rulled out. She said it could be a kidney stone, but I don't have any other symptoms--no fever, blood, vomiting, etc. More than likely it is just either a pulled muscle or, what I've come to think, getting a better bra! I have always been "well endowed" and in a losing battle with gravity. I've lost enough weight now that I can actually get a bra that fits me around like it should, but my shoulders and back still hurt by the end of the day. Maybe at the end of this process I can get a reduction if I don't lose enough.
Hope all is going well with you. I'm making vacation plans to be away a week, so that will be my first long out-of-town so how do I eat right challenge. I made sure I booked hotel rooms that had mini-friges just in case! Fortunately, the friend I am going to visit knows about the surgery and won't try to undermine my efforts.
Enjoy your summer and good luck with reaching your goal,
Sally
