Topic: Home after surgery 5/14/04
Boy I have pages to put in my WLS Scrapbook now: Got home this morrning about noon. The procedure was not as bad as I thought it would be. The worst was the wanting a drink and not able to have one on Saturday. Used the pain meds as needed. Highly recommend using them you feel better faster. I know it sounds strange but the first day I used the pain meds sparingly, maybe I thought there wouldn't be anymore or that they would think that I was not well enough to go home but by the second day I was using the pain meds as needed and everyone started commenting that I was looking better. So my advice is use the meds in the beginning to get through the first day and then do not let the pain get so bad that they need to keep giving you boost to get it back in a tolerable level. Tonight I feel like I did ten thousand crunches and I am tired but overall I feel great. I am amazed that I have not been hungry. Have found myself looking for something to snack on but decided that sharing a sugar-fee jello with my son was the best. It was the best thing that I ever did. Highlights: The antistesiologist was not the greatest in finding a good vein so I have some good bruises on my hands. But they are fading. My doctor (Rawlins) was amazing and so caring. Came by a few times to check on me and really was pleased at my progress. Removal of the drain tube was painful. Take a hit of the pain meds before they remove that wish that I had. Nursing staff was great everyshift. They were there to support me and not at all cause me discomfort. That is all for now! Hang in there, I know how scary the last days before surgery are but there is a whole new you at the other side. Congrats to everyone who had surgery and who is having surgery. I will be praying for all of you. -Gerriann post-op 3 days

I was that way in the beginning, but as time went by the creativity comes to. Now I plan my pages when I'm taking my pictures. I also do alot of web surfing there are alot of sites out there with great ideas. When I started, it was just pictures and papers, now I'm doing brads and eyelets, I love shaker boxes. I also went to the local scrapbook store and bought a few idea books. Feel free to email me.

Topic: Hi I'm a Scrapbook addict
I got turned on to Scrapbooking last year, and have been addicted ever since. I plan on spending my six weeks off getting caught up. I have spent the last several months stocking up on paper and stickers. I'm sad to admit I am also addicted to ebay. I hide my head in shame.

I love www.lifetimemoments.com. They carry a wonderful array of supplies, the gallery is filled with incredible layouts, from simple to elaborate, and the community is very warm and friendly. I hang out there quite a bit! Norri
