Oooh.. I would do this too.. but not in 8.5 x 11... 12x12 or any of the smaller sizes are great for me. I think many people do the 6x6 or 5x7 for their WLS scrapbooks... so that is a very good idea. Tonya

Glad I finished reading this thread before responding. I, too, was confused at the 8x10 layout! I am game for anything. I have been making lots of 6x6 scrapbooks lately. But other sizes are fine, too. Just let me know! Judy

Topic: RE: Digital? 35mm? Polaroid?
Hi Trisha, I use a digital camera. I love Canon camera products - I have been thinking about upgrading to a 5.0+ meg digital; the one I have now is 3.0. I use an HP photo printer which I sometimes just print form the card. When I am ambitious, I download and edit. My scanner is also Canon. I understand they now make a scanner that can handle 12x12" but it is really expensive. I am thinking about getting one of the portable printers that does 4x6" photos. Cheryl

Hey Trisha! I have a poopy digital camera that we bought cheap just to try out. I dunno if we are planning on buying a good new one anytime soon but my dear wonderful friend has one, and lemme tell ya she likes to take pics! She straight up volunteered to take all my pics for me and put 'em on a disc! I also have a scanner, printer, copier so if I use a 35mm it won't be hard to print out the pics.. I'm so stoked about this scrapbooking thing! It's like a new addiction!! *huggs* Tracie T-minus 39 days and counting! WOO HOO

I think it all sounds good! Ya'll just have to be patient with the newbie scrapbooker I still don't have a lot of stuff yet. Or I could just wait until I get all my new stuff and hop on board next time! Not sure how long it will take to get what I just ordered.. I will do my best and then when whoever gets 'em could maybe give me some hints and pointers that would be awesome.. I plan on doing some scrapbooking after I get home from my surgery hoping that will keep my mind occupied! Tracie

Trisha, My thoughts are for our first swap to do either a 6x6 dual page (one page for pix and one pg for journaling) or 5x7 dual page. I'd prefer 6x6 b/c that is a good money saver from 12x12 paper. The dual would have the same flow (theme) for the two pages. I think its a great idea! Let me know...xoxoxoxojenn PS: I am totally in!
