Topic: Favorite Colors?
I am wondering what is everyones favorite colors for layouts lately. I usually always stick to Earth type tones....but lately its PINK, and I am so not a pink person! Pink and Black, Pink and Brown, Pink and Lilac...Bright pink and orange and lime....
Just curious what everyone is using?
I ordered some things from Creative memories. I like their layouts. They are quick and easy to do. Seems like a lot of stores are getting deeper and deeper into embellishments, although they look awesome...seems like they take forever and a day to get an 8 1/2 x 11 page done!
Have a good Monday! xoxoxojenn

I'm still at it Trisha. Things have been very hectic with all the doctors' appts. and testing- one or the other every day for 2 weeks! We are getting things lined up for the cruise...just 2 weeks from today. YEA!!!!!!
I've been meaning to ask you...how far is Glendale from Scottsdale? I friend of mine came out there when the Humana Hospital opened on Bell Rd. near Scottsdale Rd. He was one of the anaethesiologists there. I came out about 5 times each year to visit him. He has since moved back to this area so I haven't been out there lately but I really did love the area.
Creating Keepsakes is having an anniversary show on QVC on either the 26th or 27th, can't remember which. They are supposed to have some anniversary prices on things. I watch to get ideas.
Thanks for reminding me to stay on top of the board. It good to know someone cares.

Topic: RE: Protein Mix Reviews
What a great idea! I hadn't thought of a page like this. I am hooked on Pro-Complex. This is what the surgical group at Pacific Bariatrics recommends. It is available at GNC and probably on the web. It comes in choc, straw, van, rocky road and maybe some other flavors. I love the chocolate. I mix the two scoops (55 g of protein!!!!) with 4 ounces of water and a few ice chips. It is delish. I have it every day for breakfast. My daughter loves the vanilla and my ex loves the strawberry with fresh fruit. They are drinking it for health reasons, not dieting. The other protein mix that Pac Bar recommends is Pro-Rated 45g of protein) which is at Costco. Also comes in choc, straw, and van. What a bargain at less than $20 for a 6 pound jar. It's pretty good, too. I have to agree on some of the samples being YUCK!! Also, you can't see what the surgar count is on the samples. Best of luck in finding one you like and that likes you!! Be sure to check out the sugar counts. That's what messed up my roommate while I was in the hospital after surgery. She had surgery the week before me and was back in for another week and a half. She had tried a protein mix from Walmart that was not too high in protein but very high in sugars. Don't want that!!

Thanks...

Please tell me which ones you likes. I haven't found any I can really stomach. Its been a rough protein journey. I know I need my shakes...but I get so sick on some of them.
I think the review is a great idea....
Have a good day! xoxoxojenn
Topic: RE: WLS Journey
Hi all!! I too am a bit late in responding, but here goes. I am almost 3 months post-op and am down 70lbs. Love it! This whole journey is so amazing and I thank God every day. I live in beautiful Southern Maryland by the Chesapeake Bay. Scrapping and stamping have been an addiction of mine for the past 3 years. What a blast! My only wish is that I had my own little area/room where I could always leave all my stamps/pics out so that their ready and on hand. Really a pain in the butt to have to put away when I am finished. Oh well. Can't wait to meet everyone thru their artwork. Just signed up for the July page swap and am biting at the bit. Take care and best of luck creating!

Topic: RE: Stamps? Anyone? Anyone?
Hi. I am mostly a lurker. doctor is looking into helping me with my wl journey. long story.
I love to scrapebook. have more than most stores just don't seem to have the time or energy to get into it much.
Same with the stamps, used to be a fleamarket that i used to go to a lady sold stamps new ones for 1-2-3 dollars. I have way over 300. like the scrapebooking don't get much done with them., hopeing after i no longer watch my grandkids (no hurry growing up. I love watching them.)and start my new life as a thinner, healther person my brain will kick in and i will be able to use all my great stuff.
so i will pass on the swaps for now but maybe some day. Hugs Debbie Mo.
