Luci,
Relax....they aren't due until June 2nd....No need to rush. I never thought of the frames for the journaling or pictures. I guess I never know what size they will be cropping to. But that is an awesome idea!

Topic: 6x6x swap
Well I finally sat down last night and did my pages. Actually, I have to put on the "frames" for the pictures/journalling yet. Should have them in the mail by the end of the week. Luci

Wow, can you change your PCP to a doctor that is WLS knowledgable and such? Go to the MO message board and see if there are any dr's in your area that your insurance covers. And you can find out what BARIATRIC surgeons your insurance covers by calling the 800 # on your insurance card or going to their website (i.e. aetna.com, etc). That's how I found out mine at first.
This is what you should be doing NOW:
* Request copies of your medical records from your PCP for the PAST 5 years. You'll need to fill out a medical release form. Reason for medical records - CONTINUING MEDICAL CARE (that way they don't charge you - some docs charge)
* List diets you have tried in past 5 years and how much you lost on them and how much you gained afterwards.
* Have PCP write letter of support for surgery listing your co-morbidities (if any), weight, medications you are on and how weight loss surgery will improve your health and help you go off medications and no longer have co-morbidities.
That's enough to start. Explore this site (www.obesityhelp.com) for more info - vast info on here! Here are some other helpful sites:
vitalady.com
bariatriceating.com
wlsandyou.com
mygastricbypass.com (no www or anything just the http)
I know it's frustrating at first, but hang in there! You'll be in the swing of things before you know it!!
Hugs,
Trisha
Topic: RE: Lots of postage??
Wow. Yeah some had more postage than others. So I hope you all get them. LOL You MAY have postage due - not you, but others. It depends on envelope and like poster said above, embelishments and stuff, layers, all that jazz. Great cards though!! You all will enjoy receiving the swap cards!! I'll get them in mail this week! Will post when they've been mailed.
Hugs,
Trisha

Hi, Sarah! Welcome aBOARD!!!! I'm pretty new to scrapbooking and stamping too - just started this year. I buy stuff more than actually doing it it seems lately!! This group has inspired me to be more active in scrapbooking/stamping!! I love it!!
I'm post-op. Just over 3 months, 71 lbs down.
Congrats on your weight loss!! Wow! 200 lbs is awesome. That's how much I had to lose too - well, now down to 130 or so. Yay!! Not so overwhelming as having to lose 200+ lbs!! But it's flying by!
Glad you found us!! Please post often!! There's some newbies on here like us and some veteran experts here as well. You'll find some great info here!!
Hugs,
Trisha
