Topic: Put your thinking caps on - I Need ideas - HELP!
I've decided to do a college album for my son but I need some serious help! I want to complete the album so I can give it to him when I travel to NC (I'm in FL) in 4 weeks. I have lots of graduation pics, but not much else. I have asked his girlfriend to make some pics of places he's lived, his favorite hang-out, the pool where he works, etc. but I have no idea if she'll have time to do it and get them to me. So..... I need ideas for college pages that may, but probably won't, have pics on them.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!

I have a "photo" of mine. It is definitely not pretty but if you want a photo I could probably scan it for you. My lovely doc takes pictures of everything..

Depending on if the person receiving the pages or doing the pages crops the pictures or not. Most cases 6x6 pages the pics are cropped a bit. Its your choice to put the frames on it. I didn't on mine b/c I never know the size of the picture...its just me personal choice is all. No wrong or right way! xoxoxojenn
Topic: RE: Questions about card swaps
Dawn
Welcome to this board. Currently there is a happy birthday card swap going on. This is the link to a previous sign up for them:
http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/member-interests/scrapbooks/postdetail/658.html?vc=0
In a nut shell when the sign up is over the "head" or the one who started the swap will email those who signed up with the number in the swap. You make that many cards (and in this swap decorated envelopes) send them to the head along with a stamped self addressed envelope for yours to come back to you. Then the head takes all the ones she gets and sends the assortment back to everyone. Luci
Topic: Questions about card swaps
Hi fellow scrapbooking nuts!
Can someone tell me about the card swap? The rules and how to join in?
Thanks,
Dawn

I'm not one of the swappers, but I thought I'd put in my .02 for what it's worth.... I would think that for the picture, if you'd make the frame a standard size (4x6, 3x5) it would be easier for everyone. Or if you made the frame, but didn't attach it, just included it with the page, that might work too.
I think a recipe swap would be pretty cool. Too bad I don't cook.
Happy scrappin'

Luci, I'm new at page swaps, but right or wrong, I put a frame. Hopefully people can work with it. Had the same questions as you, but went by the example given. Hope it works out. Can't wait to see the variety that we get back.
Have fun!
