Topic: Great new line for women from PSX!
PSX designs has come out with a great new line called 'wonderful, wacky women' celebrating US!!!
I used the 'great attitude' set for my title page. I love the bright bold colors and the earthy style. It's just plain fun.

Topic: RE: Need Weightloss stickers & embellishments
I haven't been able to find any either...I thinking about printing a copy of the scale for the profile from this site and embossing it and using it as a sticker.
The good news is that 7gypsies, k & co and rusty pickle have come out with paper and stickers of yardsticks...I have used these as the foundation for my pages of weight log/measurement log.
I'll let ya know if I find some scales.
Topic: Started my WLS book...
I'm doing 12x12 although I think I would have been happier with 8.5.
I've gotten the background started and now we just have to take bunches of pics.
My page for hospital pics is called 'postcards from the edge' and has some really nice postage/letter themed paper.

Topic: RE: Scrapbooking your journey
I recently had RNY feb 3rd, I have kept my hospital bracelet and discharge papers as I think they will be good things to include. I was also told to take photos of you in a doorway as you see the shirinking you more prevelent!!! Also to journal things such as a grat doc visit, or even a blue moment when you wonder if drinking broth one more day will ever come to an end...I have scrapbooked for 10 years and getting started is half the battle.. but what a wonderful memory ( life changing) to preserve!

Lisa, I think you could treat it kind of like a baby book - you know - weights and dates of office visits. Before Pics and pics during the process (maybe a pic for each new weight listed) Big Firsts - like when you are able to do something you hadn't been able to do in a long time (tie your shoes for ex) with the date and a pic of course. Also - hospital, pics of you and your doc and office staff - pics of you during post op. And most important (all of us scrappers know this) journal!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck - let me know how your album turns out. I know it will be great!!!!!!!
Topic: Scrapbooking your journey
I was just wondering if anyone has completed an album of the wls journey. What kind of stuff did you include. I am in the process of the surgery and am looking for idea's as to how to get started. You would think that being a Creative Memories Consultant I would have a clue but...hmmm. I did pick out the album though. I am going to use the Starr's Album. Because when this is all over I am going to look and feel like a star!! I cant wait! Thanks for listening...
Topic: Ideas for WLS scrapbook
Hi everyone I'm going to working on my WLS scrapbook and thought I would pass along some ideas to help get you started. Here is what I plan to do:
Get pictures of your self: Before, During, After.
Take Pictures of your that you wore before weight lost.
Take your measurements: Start, During, After.
Take Pictures of you with your Surgeon/Doctor/Nurse(ask first)
Take Picture's of the hospital.
Have someone take a picture of you in your hospital bed.
Take a picture of you on a scale and Journal
Take Pictures of you doing something you always wanted to do that you couldn't do before.
Journal your Good and Bad Days
Hope the ideas help.
I'm not finished working on my Scrapbooking webpage, But if anyone would like to take a look here's the link: http://pat_c3.tripod.com
Thanks, Pat C
Topic: RE: Getting Started
Hi Ann,
Being that you are new to scrapbooking, I can tell you it can be very overwhelming. My best advice to you get a few of the scrapbooking magazines that are on the news stands. My favorite is Creating keepsakes followed by Memory Makers. Both are excellent magazines that display scrapbook pages by staff and customers, and both teach new and exciting scrapbooking techniques. Just remember to take it slow and most of all have fun with your pages! Best of luck to you!
