6x6 question
Okay, I'll be doing my 6x6's this week and getting them in the mail by Saturday. Been so busy lately!! This is my first time doing a scrapbook page layout swap. I feel silly asking this question, but what kind of paper base do I use? All the scrapbooks that I've bought are spiral bound 12x12. Do I just tear out a page and cut it in half or what? I'm new to all this. I know what kind of layout I'll be doing, but just need to know what kind of paper base to use.
Confused,
Trisha
Trish,
Usually you just cut a 12x12 cardstock in quaters and use that as your background base. Don't tear out pages of your scrapbook. All scrapbook pages and cardstock are not created equaly-even though they say 12x12, but its a good rough estimate to do it in quaters!
Good luck email me if you have any other questions!!! xoxoxjenn
Trish,
Just go to Michael's or JoAnne's. They both have scrapbook sections in the store. Both sell scrapbook paper that is 12x12. When you cut it in half and then in half the other way, you will have 4 6x6 squares. Or, if you are brave and daring, you could visit a scrapbook store! This is very dangerous for me and my daughter. We always find too many things we need!!!

PS Here in So Cal (home of Disneyland!!!) Michael's has the 12x12 paper for 17cents this week. JoAnne's has it at 50% off.
