Who here is interested in a Scrapbook Page Swap in July? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WHAT: Create six 8x10 Scrapbooking page layouts - all the same or very similar. Keep one for yourself and send the other 5 in for swap. THEME: SUMMER! CREDITS/EMBELLISHMENTS: On a separate page, list brand names of products you used and how you used them, if possible, so others can learn from your creativity!!! MAIL: Mail 5 of these Summer Themed Page Layouts to me by July 9th as well as a self-addressed-stamped envelope 9X12 or bigger. And I'll mail you back one of each of the layouts sent in! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've never done this before, so let me know if the guidelines are doable and "normal". LOL Reply to this thread if you are interested!!! Hugs, Trisha -56 lbs

hmmmm 8x10 is an odd size... Shouldn't we start off with a smaller size first? Just curious. I mean....I am all about doing a page swap...but the sizes I have already done is 12x12, 8 1/2 x 11, 6x6...... Are there albums out there at sized 8x10? xoxoxojenn

Oops!!! Sorry - I meant 8.5 x 11. I don't know how we can "cheaply" send 12x12 pages. So it'd have to be 8.5x11 or 6x6. 6x6 might be easier. Your thoughts? Hugs, Trisha -56 lbs

Triisha, Great idea! I'm in but I too am concerned about the size. I do mostly 8x8 or 12x12. Anyway we can work this out? Maybe we could send you copies of pages so others may use the basic idea? Whatever you decide is fine with me. Thanks for the idea. Cheryl

Trisha, My thoughts are for our first swap to do either a 6x6 dual page (one page for pix and one pg for journaling) or 5x7 dual page. I'd prefer 6x6 b/c that is a good money saver from 12x12 paper. The dual would have the same flow (theme) for the two pages. I think its a great idea! Let me know...xoxoxoxojenn PS: I am totally in!

Glad I finished reading this thread before responding. I, too, was confused at the 8x10 layout! I am game for anything. I have been making lots of 6x6 scrapbooks lately. But other sizes are fine, too. Just let me know! Judy

Oooh.. I would do this too.. but not in 8.5 x 11... 12x12 or any of the smaller sizes are great for me. I think many people do the 6x6 or 5x7 for their WLS scrapbooks... so that is a very good idea. Tonya

I would love to do a 6 x 6 page-I am just starting scrapbooking and am intimidated by the 12 x 12 pg-. I want to do a 6 x 6 swap for recipes with others sometime-maybe that theme for the next page swap
