C'mon!! Let's get . This board should be with creativity, friendship and support!! Let's get moving!! Encourage others to post as well!!
Hi, Trisha. I'm fairly new to scrapbooking. My husband bought me some supplies to get me started at Christmas, and I have done a couple of pages. I really do like it. I saw an earlier post about doing a WLS scrapbook. I think I'll do that for my husband who had surgery last month, 3/23. I'm in the process of getting approval as well. What a cool idea...to see the progress in a book. I have all kinds of ideas, just not a whole lot of time.
Yes there is just so much we can do!!! It's hard to decide on which way to go on it. ALl these ideas floating around. I need to decide on one and get started. I took my one-month out photos today and will get those printed out. I hope to see a good difference in a month - 31 lbs. We'll see. I have so much more to lose. But I'm taking it a day at a time.
Yeah, that's great that you are doing a WLS scrapbok for your husband and one for you. WOW!! You should get started on your husbands this month sometime so you can compare monthly photos. Take a headshot, middle shot, long shot and then side views.
How's your husband doing post-op?
Yea Trisha,
I have been checking each day to see if we were getting anyone else to even know we are here. Maybe we can get something going!
Just found a site to buy travel related materials. The company is ScrapYourTrip. They do have things that I have never seen. Some friends say that if it is scrapbooking related, it's probably in my craft room.
I am currently working on two albums for my niece. The first is an 8x8" highlighting family recipes with the history behind each. I did one for my new "niece-in-law" as a part of her Christmas present which my niece saw. SHe requested one too. I am also doing a bridal shower gift (for the same niece) of her growing up, her fiance growing up, their time together, etc. I usually do pages for the shower, getting ready for the wedding, the actual wedding, and reception but leave mats for those photos.
I also am working on a WLS for me. Please let us know what you're up to. Check my post previously to add your "must-haves. Great to hear from another scrapper.

I want to be your niece!! What awesome gifts! WOW!! I never heard of that trip one. That's cool!! I'm planning on going to Vegas in May, so I'm sure they'll have VEgas themes there. I'll check that site out. Thanks!!!
Yep, I need to add a LOT more to my scrapbook and stampin' collection. I'm at the beginning stages of it right now.
One tip that I learned too late. When you complete a scrapbook, scan it and save to to CD or DVD. That way if you have someone who wants the same one or type of one done, you don't have to reinvent the world.
I didn't scan those for my nephew's fiance so now that my niece has put her requests in, I have to start from scratch. From then on, I started scanning....just in case.
I'm here!!!! I love to scrap and so does my daughter. Last Saturday we were at an all-day scrap and I got a baby scrapbook done for a woman at work. I had made one for another teacher and now this one wants one too! It ended up being 20 pages with everything except the pictures and journaling.
I have surgery in less than 3 weeks. I bought my scrapbook and am ready to get started on my WLS journey. I have been looking for paper, embellishments, stickers, etc for weight loss, but have not found much. Anyone have a good source???
Judy
Judy Anne, I have not been able to find much in the line of weight loss scrapbooking supplies. There are a few exercise ones, and some assorted food ones. I have been amassing *some* items for my WLS album...one thing I found was a 1/2 sheet or so of embossed tags that talk about "My Goals," etc - not specific to any subject, but would work in this case.
