Scrapbook Suggestion
For any of you who are working on your "Before and After" album and you would like to encorporate your documents and approval letters, there are several ways to do it.
With a post bound album, you can simply slide the letter or medical document in the page protector. But what about us who use strap hinge (Creative Memories and Westrim) or Spiral & 3 ring bound albums??? If you don't plan to ever remove the diocuments, you can add them to a page as if you would add a large picture with adhesive.
However, if you would like to be able to remove the documents later, there are several things that will work. I've tried using Photo Corners to mount other things in albums. It basically just traps the corners, so you can easily remove it if need be, However, I could never get them just right, and the items kept falling out.
There are also photo mounting sleeves. Basically is a photo or page sized sleeve that gets mounted to the page, and the picture or document slides in. Its held in place, but no adhesive goes on the document.
However, I personally chose the Portrait Sleeves by Creative Memories for my album. I am doing an 8.5X11 album. And I want to include my medical documents and approval letters. The Portrait Sleeves are sort of like post bound page protectors that fit into strap hinge albums. The edge slides in just like any other page, however is a page that is basically a protector. Slide your document down in it and now you can read the front and back of your approval letter or other medical document. You can easily remove the portrait sleeve or remove the contents.
If you would like to see the portrait sleeves in action, check with your Creative Memories consultant.
