Magazines

Anyone ever gotten enough nerve up to submit a page to one of the scrap mags, to be published? I thought about it...as sometimes when Im going through them, I see the same woman's pages throughout the mag.. and Im thinking, Maybe not very many people submit?? I could make an easy 50 bucks? wondering if anyone has ever done this Happy Friday to ALL!!

I have submitted many times however, have never been selected to have anything published. Don't get discouraged, many of the "big" scrappers had to repeatedly submit before they were discovered. There is a website www.scrapsubmit.com where you can submit to many different mags at one time.

Hi Missy; I am very proud to say Ihave been published twice and one of those was in Memory Makers Paperdolls Special Edition. I had three of my paperdolls published. Now the sad part is I did not receive a cash award but on the up side, I got a box "full" of wonderful scrapbooking items. I guess the box was around $100 if I had to go out and purchase it. On my second publication, I submitted a tip for scrapbooking and there again recieved a pkg of super items. So to me it is well worht submitting your layouts or tips or what ever you are good at.
