I had a very nice Thanksgiving. It got off to an interesting start with my cousin in laws two estranged sons did a pop in. The rood was great. The company and gratefulness were great.

I spent some really quality time with Paula.

There were close to 7,000 runners! Lots of cute costumes and dogs. One house was giving out Bloody Mary and donuts instead of water.

Proud of your Turkey trot! It was cold so glad you stuck it out. I probably would have bailed.

My mom has a poor appetite to, but I make her drink one Ensure a day, and she talks a protein supplement in her OJ every morning. But if you are still taking your vitamins, you should be fine. Glad to hear your appetite is back.

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

I can't believe it is already Monday. sped by way to fast. I had a wonderful Birthday. Only 2 hic-ups. Saturday I mandolined my fingertip and starting Friday I got something respiratory going on. I didn't let it get me down, but I am super tired today.

QOTD: I loved Thanksgiving. I had my family there were only 5 of us and they had left and gone home by 5. Very peaceful and perfect.

Accountability: I did have a cake and some noodles, and I did not properly hydrate.

Good morning, everyone!

We are down to the orange vegetables: turnip, butternut squash and sweet potatoes. Although, Marilyn usually throws everything away today. I'm not sure anything will be around when I get home this evening.

Jennifer, a Bariatric appointment on the Monday after Thanksgiving is a tough draw. I have an Endocrinologist on New Year's Eve, so I can sympathize with you.

With the late Thanksgiving, we are way behind schedule for Christmas and we have a busy weekend ahead. We will have to find time to shop and decorate.

QOTD: Great weekend, picked DD and her boyfriend up on Wednesday, Road Race Thanksgiving morning and a dinner with all children out of their rooms.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: something and orange veggies

Have a great day, all!

Thanksgiving was wonderful. I enjoyed all of the food and all of the kids. There were four little boys from 4 - 7. They were playing with building tiles. They would build a tower and stand back to admire it and then another boy would kick it over. One time they started throwing punches. I thought it was funny and enjoyed watching them. Kids have so much energy.

I put the last of the leftovers in the garbage yesterday. I do a live tree and will get that done this week. I love the real tree but worry about keeping it too long and it drying out. It is cold here and I have the heavy jacket and gloves out. I bought some battery operated socks to sleep in and love them.

I spent yesterday ordering Christmas presents. I like shopping that way. Life has become so relaxed and easy. I have been struggling for months with poor appetite and weight loss. But my appetite is back and I am up eight pounds. So back to being careful not to gain more. Amazing how quick weight can come back.

Have a great day.

Morning gang. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We had a great time, but we're crazy busy. Most of the house us put back together, but we've still got china and some other stuff to put away. I think the leftovers are gone, which is good, because I ate way too much. Time to get back on the wagon.

We put the Christmas tree up, which is nice. It would probably have been up sooner, but we wouldn't have had room with all the guests coming.

It's cold here too. It will be down in the teens every night, and I think the highest daytime temp this week will be 41.
