I'm Facebook friends with her, too...but she doesn't post too often (either that, or she just doesn't show up on my newsfeed that often). She occasionally comments on some of my posts, though. She's doing fine, as far as I know. I miss some of these folks!
I was just going to say the same thing! I remember all the others, but not Presistence. They must not have been on here for long.
I'd never do a fish foot bath, either. that's just too damn weird...
1640 m - that's 32 laps in a 50-meter pool - which I believe is a mile! Excellent!
a couple other people said they were looking for me, too! I was pretty far up, though - unless the cameras were scanning the audience, you wouldn't have been able to see me. My sister did spot DH though a couple of weeks ago when he was at Kamala's rally! Given there were over 10K people there, that was pretty incredible!
my insurance will cover up to $1000 for a hearing aid (although I'm not sure if that applies to Costco - it may just be at the audiology clinic affiliated with my medical system). My FSA can cover the rest, but of course only if I have enough $$ in it to cover that. We have three Costcos in the county (and it sounds like their hearing aid thing is exactly the same as you had at Sam's Club - price, return period, etc...). I called one of them and they don't have any appts until December. Tried the other two in case they had a cancellation or something, but no answer. They may be at lunch. I'll try again later - but I'm guessing they're also scheduled out pretty far. Crap. I may just get it all done there rather than bother with the test at my medical clinic. Costco's hearing tests are free - plus yes - the hearing aids there are pretty reasonably priced....way cheaper than getting them through the audiology clinic.
If I can't get in anywhere soon, I'll just put an extra couple hundred bucks in my FSA to help with it. I'm hesitant to put in $1000+ without knowing if I even need them or not, because DH plans to retire next year, so we won't be able to carry anything over into 2026 - we'd forfeit whatever's left in it. I guess I'd rather pay a chunk of the cost with my credit card (and only cover a smaller chunk of it with my FSA) rather than risk losing hundreds of dollars. There's only so many bottles of Tylenol and Miralax I can buy with $1000 extra dollars in my FSA account without raising suspicion!
That meme is me!
QOTD- The Reeses popcorn, it is just too tempting so I'm not gonna buy it again. I've been on a Bugles kick lately but I think I'm done with that.
I made it to the nature park yesterday I did 1.66 miles and made 6495 steps. I'm just proud of me for going. It wasn't very warm so today I will wear a jacket and maybe some gloves. We had our first almost frost last night it was 37 when I started work and there is a frost advisory for tonight. Other than that is is clear and sunshiny.
I'm trying to get back to a consistent eating, up my protein and not have processed carbs. I bought some flavored tuna pouches so I can just eat that without the bread. I made some minestrone soup and I'm finally at the end of it. I have a baby crock pot so I was hoping it would only make about 3 bowls. It was pretty simple I started with a pint of home canned tomatoes, added onion, carrots, lentils, kidney beans, small shell pasta and vegetable broth. I haven't actually calculated the calories but I figure it can't be more than Olive Garden and should be healthier.
My ahi and salmon jerky should be here tomorrow, so that will be a good high protein snack. It's high in sodium but I don't plan on eating more than an ounce at a time.
Happy hump day! Take care everyone!

I can tell you guys aren't from Wisconsin - cheese curds are a huge thing here!
It was long before Creami but I did have an ice cream maker and had protein ice cream several times a day for years after my surgery. I also made high protein baked goods. Sometimes lunch was protein ice cream with protein cookies.
