Good Morning! I hope your mom is doing okay and isn't too sore from her fall. I think we should declare it Thursday?! I do have a few reports to work on today so it should go by pretty quickly. I'm grateful that my two team members are doing good and even during the payroll weeks I am able to work on my other stuff while they handle most of that, which has been the goal.

Good morning ~ Nothing ever seems to be as exciting as our brains tell us it will be! That is what I told myself on Monday when there was a Nacho Bar party in the lunchroom. I didn't go but my brain won't shut up about it because I still want nachos! Yesterday was great work progress for me, but very stressful in other ways. Today will be very busy, a mini project first thing, 3 back to back meetings after that and another after lunch. Tomorrow will be better, I just need to get through today.

QOTD - I've been influenced absolutely! A posture sport bra that I love it and basically living in it at home because it feels so good on. A hot comb straightener that I used yesterday for the first time. I like it and it got out the curls but did not tame the frizz as well as I'd hoped. Prime bites brownies - I loved them at first, now they are absolute ick.

Accountability - perfect! 43 active minutes, 10,526 steps. Today I am 168.0 and have 30 minutes done on the treadmill.

B- coffee, yogurt

l - chicken and spanish cauli-rice, zero tortilla

d - meat sauce, parm and garlic baguette

s - small apple, cutie, jerky

Have a great day!

Good mornin everyone!

The only thing set in stone is an appointment this morning. We might need to run for a quick grocery trip too. My mom is just not doing real great. Lots of stuff.

I got the report back for my myelogram. Lots of issues but they are in the mild department. A big bone spur complex that is on the interior of the spinal cord canal. Nothing that'd explain my shoulder so I see more testing in my future. It's really been bothering me a lot. It makes everything a little more difficult. My lower back is and I guess will always be a **** show, no one is willing to help me with that. It had me in tears this morning. So now on top of feeling overall ****ty I am feeling puffy faced and ****ty. It's getting old. I did find my controller for my spinal cord stimulator and changed some of the settings like the NP suggested. So far no change. :::shrug:::

QOTD: I am so not in on the latest things. I should try to be more so but I literally always forget to look at things or get recipes. I'm an old fuddydud.

Food is up in the air today. Easy stuff I am sure as I have little energy.

Good Morning and Happy Hump Day!

I am not feeling it today. I really don't feel like going into the office. It looks like a light & easy day but I am still just not in the mood for a commute in the rain.

QOTD: What's something you tried because of an internet trend and loved? I can think of two - first, I saw about a million videos on TikTok of cats getting their heads massaged with these little electronic massagers and the cats looked so happy. I finally got one a few months ago and my cats have never loved me more. Our night time routine got a lot longer and more complicated because they both need a turn but it makes them so happy :) I also got one of those hot brushes that you can plug in and it takes your crazy curly frizzy hair and straightens it with one comb through. It's not quite that easy, but it really does work better than anything else I have owned.

Accountability: Good until my walk through Target led me to some mini Doritos. Funny, though - the call to buy them was stronger than I could resist, but after a handful, I was satisfied and done. They really were not as exciting as my brain told me they would be. I am down another .5lbs. Slow but steady.

I have the Fit*****arge 6 and like it. They sell a pocket clip for it and you can take the watch bands off. They have another (the Inspire, maybe?) that you can also switch out the band for a clip.

When I bought an automatic litter box, I worried that my cat would not like it, but she went right to it and proudly used it. Mine was from PetSafe and called Scoop Free. It was really an expensive solution but did work well. Good luck with yours. Years ago there were automatic litter boxes by LitterMaid that worked really well, but that company started producing boxes that were poor quality and went out of business.

I have all hardwood and ceramic tile flooring now, but I also love soft, warm wall to wall carpeting.

I relate completely to the bubble wrap idea and sometimes wish I could just do that to myself. I have weaker muscles now and low blood pressure bouts and started using a walker when I am outside. I hate that I have to do that, but don't want to fall on the sidewalk and not be able to get up again. The only thing I can say about your parents is that they have to accept that they are not as strong and agile as they used to be and need to be very careful all the tme.

There are exercises to help with strength and balance and I do those at my senior citizens center. Your parents might want to look into something lie that. There are people where I go that are in their 80's and some in their 90's and they are maintaining good balance.

QOTD- The two bedrooms downstairs are hardwood. The rest is awful carpet, it was new when I moved in but some people don't wipe their feet when coming in so the high traffic areas are terrible. I have plans to remove it and put in vinyl plank or similar. The carpet has waves in it and needs to be re-stretched to get rid of them. It is too light, tan and white and I want it off the stairs because it is dangerous. I did all the work in my last house to replace the carpets, but honestly I don't think I'm up to doing it again.

I took yesterday off sick as I woke up with a splitting headache and nausea, I tried to go back to sleep without any success. The headache is still there but not as bad.

QJB I didn't hear how the back supporter worked. I ordered one from Amazon and I need to go by Whole Foods to return it. If anyone found one that works let me know which one it is.

I gave in and bought an automatic litter box, it will be here on Friday. I just hope that they will use it and I didn't waste my money.

I'm looking for a new Fitbit all of mine the batteries barely last for a day on a charge. I don't wear a watch so I'm looking for one I can clip on my pocket. Any suggestions?

Have a great day everyone!
