So sorry you are having issues with work and with your roommate. Sometimes a walk in nature was the only thing that helped keep me sane. I do not deal well with micromanagers. It really affects my productivity and makes work a miserable experience. Sometimes you can work things out with a manager like that. I believe it happens because they are just not busy enough and fear losing their job.
I remember sitting down with one and telling him that nobody is going to throw him under the bus, that people under him are experienced and productive. Everyone works in their own way and at their own pace. As long as people are getting their work done, I always tried to manage with as little interference as possible. For me it comes down to trust and respect.

Happy Birthday to Kobe. I know it will be great. So glad you are sticking with the ice cream. It is the best way to enjoy protein and I pretty much lived on protein ice cream for four or five years after my surgery. Have a great weekend.

So glad it is Friday! Only 3 more hours to work.
I've been having issues with my roommate and have felt disrespected and on edge. I'm trying not to let the results of the election get to me, that is why I went for a walk on Wednesday. Today is clear and cold so if I get myself out there I can walk today. When I'm in the woods I feel like I can breathe, I try to soak in all the beauty and just be in the moment.
I wish I could say work is OK but it isn't. I'm behind and they are trying to micro-manage us. I can only do one thing at a time. If I try to do more the results are not good.
I'm also trying to figure out how to watch the Ducks tomorrow. It's only on the Big Ten Network so I may breakdown and do a free trial of FUBO so I can see it. I'm about ready to give up on the Seahawks, they have truly been so awful...
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning menuers and happy Friday,
Long time. Mary, hope time with family is amazing. I'm digging into work and trying to get things wrapped up before flying to Thailand Tuesday morning. Also been interviewing for new jobs. The long countdown is almost over and I'm looking forward to it.
Been a week, as everyone knows. Lots of heavy discussions and some people even want to move out of this red, red state. The times we live in.
Food today is scrambled eggs with salsa on whole grain toast, cottage cheese, nonfat yogurt, a mix of cranberry juice with apple, so much tea, and rotisserie chicken. I'm in fridge clean out mode. Weight in the 140's. I'll take it.
Hope you're all doing well. Looks like lots of change. Best.
