Good Morning! Finally sunny ( if cold ) here. Looking forward to moving !
It was all I could do yesterday not to go running to the ( free! ) gym but I was a good grrl and drove to IKEA as planned. Plastic organizing boxes obtained - looking forward to a cleaner living room !
Walked 2.2 miles there and charged my car free
D was bites of IKEA food, midnite snack bites of IKEA cakes
B - leftover pastries, jaggery Yemeni coffee latte ( Jaggery is Asian palm sugar - tastes kind of caramelly. Delicious but most of the sweetening is stevia ( I don't do well with sugar) Something proteiny maybe ff omelet n cowboy beans again.
off plan yesterday - 2 onion rings , banana/ strawberry road food smoothie. No fat but terribly sugary . Took me a few hours to sip it without repercussions.
Unloading , calling gyms and health insurance ( booking appt for massage n acupuncture if possible- those would SO help my painful mid back and neck )
Grant paperwork, organizing planting n cleaning.
L- tbd but have fish, chicken pork and veg - a surfeit of riches
Hoping for an earlier chiro appt and a long walk home and Rigoletto in person at the Met !
Feeling pretty good - it's all a work in progress but I'm seeing improvement
Good morning everyone. I think things may be back to normal here. I'm a big fan of normal. I'm hoping to get the rest of my shop back in order, and get back on track. I've got my yearly physical on Thursday, so I need to see which pair of shoes weighs the least.
QOTD: Hmmmm. Lassie? Lassie always seemed very smart. But I'm just not thinking of many fictional pets.

Morning all. I would say this meme feels accurate. I had a very nice weekend that was a combo of hanging with friends and teaching a cookie class yesterday. Both were great and I would love one more day before having to face the week. But thankfully I got a decent night's sleep and it's a WFH day, so I think I got this.
QOTD: Pick a fictional animal for a pet! Even though I am not typically a dog person, I think I'd pick Gromit from Wallace and Gromit. I'd eat lots of cheese, and Gromit will thwart evil plans and keep us safe -- I think we'd be a perfect duo.
Ok, if I see a wagon roll by today, it's time for me to hop on board and hold on for dear life. I had all decent excuses to have 100% takeout last week but those excuses are over. Plus last week when I was eating off plan, I had Wegovy to keep portions low and help metabolize, but I still haven't gotten the new prescription so I am on my own this week.
- protein coffee
- chicken quesadilla
- garlic beef
- falafel and tzatziki
I have been contacted by several people that need help getting protein while going thru this terrible Hurricane Helene. If there is any way you can help can you contact me at

I change it up every time but the basic recipe is Chicken breasts, chopped hatch green chiles, green chile enchilada sauce, cumin, chicken broth, in the crock pot until cooked and then stir in cream cheese and cheddar at the end. Add corn, veggies, beans, whatever you want with cooking. Also good with some jalapeños or bacon.

Good morning! Another spooky and misty morning due to burn off into the 80's today. Best of both worlds.
I was an absolute bum yesterday. 1 minute of exercise and 3,065 steps. Ha! But totally, 100% on track for foods and all water, all day. I only moved from chair to chair reading, chasing the sun. Add a few more steps for making our meals.
Today we have softball for an early game and that's all that is on the calendar. I plan to either walk around the ball park/school during warm up hour or take a nice walk this afternoon when we get back home. I can't believe it's Sunday already and tomorrow slides right back into work out class. This week has flown by.
QoTD: Loved Berry Pickers. Just finished it. Read the sequel to Fourth Wing and of course it was less compelling and more heaving breasts and shattered breaths. My one book, one San Diego read for book club is Know my Name by Chanel Miller and I am trying to psyche myself up for it. It's tough stuff and I remember being outraged when it was in the news. If I can find a sunny spot again today, I hope to start and let the sunshine help balance me out.
Bites today
B: last of the eggroll in a bowl
L: I hope we come home from Softball to eat. I do better at home. If so, leftover beef bulgogi and salad
D: Pesto chicken and burrata with tomatoes
Peace!
