Good Morning and happy Friday! I can't begin to tell you how much I need this weekend. Between the house being in disarray from the solar and gas projects, plus a really terrible thing that happened to me at work yesterday, so the week can just go F*@$ itself. I considered taking a mental health day today, but since it's a WFH day I think I will just keep the meetings on my calendar and keep a low profile for the rest of the day.
Also, when I switched to my new doctor I asked her to call in Wegovy, but I guess she called it in too early and it was rejected by insurance. I can't seem to get anyone's attention to resend the prescription and I should be taking my dose right now. Of all the weeks to be off it, the week when I ate take out for every meal is not the best. I have to figure out how to get someone's attention today.
QOTD: Have you ever eaten food in the shower? Apparently Gen Z loves "shower snacks" and there are tons of articles and videos about it. As a fat person who loves both snacks and showers, it sound intriguing, but every time I picture it, I see that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer makes the salad in the shower and everyone freaks out. I can definitely imagine a bubble bath with a glass of wine, though ;)
Accountability and menu are both solidly in the "whatever" category. Today should be the last day of all of the madness. I really need to throw out all the leftovers that are left in the fridge and start from scratch tomorrow.
I remember when The Emerald Square Mall opened. It was the place to be in the 80's and 90's. Sad to see all the malls go the way of the dinosaurs. :( Kids today will never know the fun of walking around a mall and hanging in the arcade or checking out Spencer's.
Even Doritos get soggy! I always put out separate bowls of everything and tell everyone to make their own bowl so they can dig in right away. That way they can start eating before the chili gets the Doritos too soggy.

Mock tacos sound FAB! I love an easy heat and eat. I wonder if Quest chips would be good or get soggy?

As my oldest son's girlfriend once told me...white people trash food. Ha!
Mock Taco heat one can of no bean chili really hot, place nacho cheese doritos in a bowl, cover with a big scoop of chili, add lettuce, tomato and shredded cheddar. Ta Dah! Mock tacos.
BBQ Cups. brown up 1 pound ground beef and season with salt pepper, garlic, onion powder. drain well. Add enough bottled bbq sauce to be moist. Pop open a can of thick refrigerator biscuits and use a rolling pin (or in my childhood home a glass because Mom had no need for a rolling pin) and a little flour to roll each one out flat. Tuck into muffin tins. Add the meat mixture and top with cheese. Cheddar, swiss what ever melts. Bake per directions on the biscuits. Little hand sammies.
It was a good reminder that it is needed sometimes. Maybe if it had been fried I would have liked it!

Yes we're 2 towns away from the herd of bulls on the loose! The weirdest part of the story was that the rodeo was at a now defunct mall in a pretty urban city which is not associated with Rodeo activities. The whole thing was so odd.
When I worked for AT&T I ran into creepy people who tracked others without their knowledge. They put apps on the phones of the people they stalked that let hear phone conversations, track their whereabouts and read their texts. When we came up with better security, those people would call and ask why they could no longer track someone. It gave me a bad feeling about tracking. But I am glad that it works for people.
It is great for spouses and parents to be able to track each other and their kids. I am so glad that Rob was OK and that you knew where he was and did not have to worry about it.
