Sadly most people who would benefit from weight loss surgery never get it. It is not a magic bullet but it makes it far easier to eat correctly and lose weight when you are no longer hungry and no longer able to eat much food at one time.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
What advice would you give me considering weight loss surgery?
Thanks for answering my questions, my kids Emma (16), Ava (10), and my youngest, JJ (4). My youngest and Middle child or the picky eaters and my orders doesn't want to help me cook
Afternoon all. Sorry I've been absent for a few days. My activities get away from me and I forget.
I love the cat and dog story. Two nights ago we went to bed forgetting to close the garage door. We've got a ring camera out there, so I checked it first thing, to make sure we had no unwanted visitors. Turns out, we did. A neighborhood cat we've named Butterscotch came in, went up to the attic, and came back down at 1 am. Cheeky little *******
QOTD: I would rather deal with whichever one wasn't pissed off.
Here's a picture of Butterscoth coming down from the attic.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I don't think cats would have to be back to full size to eat us. If they are hungry and their bowl is empty they are going to start chewing away probably starting on our toes and then work their way up the legs.
And don't even get me started on the mini-Velociraptors that are called chickens. If you or anyone wants to know what a cannibalistic animal is just throw a rotisserie chicken in a chicken coop. They will pick that carcass clean in about 5 minutes flat. Never and I mean never go in the coop with shorts on and a fresh cut. Those suckers see red and they are on you like white on rice pecking at you. For some reason they love the sight of blood and go after it.
When you say picky eaters what is it that they do like to eat?
Something that might work is having one night a week where they have to try a new food. Be it a vegetable or fruit even something like tuna or chicken salad. How old are your kids? Any of them old enough to help you cook or prepare the food?
QOTD- I had one cat that had no idea how big she was. She went after an 80lb dog and came out ahead. That dog won't be going after any more cats. My current "bird killer" growled at me when I tried to take the bird away from him. He is now an indoor only cat, I couldn't deal with any more dead birds.
We're supposed to have some chilly nights coming up, just below freezing not arctic. It's 33 foggy and dark this morning.
My pouch has been really picky lately. I try to figure out what won't aggravate it. It's a struggle. Nothing appeals to me and I'm just trying to get my protein in.
Have a great day everyone!

SAP is an amazing company. I remember introducing it to a NASDAQ account back in the early 1990's and trying to get people to call it S A P and not sap. The term cloud was new to many people then and we actually had a executive who we told that his data was going in the cloud ask what would happen to his data if it was a sunny day.

Good morning, everyone!
We are having a three day thaw before the real cold weather begins next week. I'm going to enjoy it while I can. We have MLK off, so a three day weekend is coming up.
We have moved our Happy Hour meetup from Microsoft Teams onto Google Meet. So far it's working well, you don't need a leader, so the call can go forward regardless of who attends. But it has a hard cut-off at one hour. Which is probably a good thing.
We have been storing our extra beverages in our unattached garage, with no problems so far. But I grabbed a Bai for the train this morning, and when I opened the bottle, it was frozen solid. Since it's non-carbonated the bottle didn't split or anything, but I have to wait for it to warm up.
QOTD: I've been kind of freaked out ever since I read that housecats were genetically the same as predatory cats, just smaller. Trish says the aggressive tendencies have been bred out of them, but I think they would eat us if they woke up one day and were back to full size.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: Catered
Dinner: lamb
Have a great day, all!
