What's on your Monday menu?

Happy Monday everyone. Saturday was a total wash out and I was feeling tired and lazy from going in so early Thursday and Friday so I just did minimal stuff. Yesterday I did a bit more, but the darn wind was crazy outside which made it a bit cooler than normal so just stayed in the house.

I have to start looking at what days I want to take off this Summer. It seems like the days are flying by quicker than I want them to. We have two CPR classes here at work Tuesday and Thursday morning, but the rest of the week should be pretty quiet.

QOTD: Those of you who cook what type of cutting board do you use? I have a glass one and a bamboo one, but Irvin found a Titanium one that is supposed to be safe for knives. I'm always worried about bacteria even though I clean everything in super-ho****er with dish soap. I might get a small one to see just how good it really is.

B: coffee and egg salad

L: Rueben sandwich

D: Lamb gyro

30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on vibration platform.

Have a wonderful everyone!!!

I used wood cutting boards for years, then went to glass. Then someone told me that plastic was better for the knives, so now use plastic. Titanium does sound interesting. I use small cutting boards now because most meals are just for myself. I wash in dish soap and ho****er and then run them through the dishwasher.

I turn 77 today. It has been a fast and interesting ride. I feel like I accomplished everything I set out to do and no longer have much on my bucket list. Hawaii was one of the things I never did and now the plane ride there would feel overly stressful. But I think everything else on the list that I made 30 some years ago is crossed off and over.

It is strange in some ways to just be retired and not have any obligations or pressure on me. The term bucket list had not come into play then. I made a notebook with pictures of the things I wanted to do and then went through and figured out how to do them. I have always been a planner and always prided myself on finishing anything I start.

It is strange to have no goals, but sort of a welcome relief too. I can't handle cake anymore, but will have a bowl of ice cream later to celebrate.

Happy Birthday Mary! You deserve the no plans time! Sometimes it's nice to not have plans. I am sure stuff will come up for you to do but it'll make it to where you're more open to do things out of the blue!

Good morning Jennifer and Menuer's,

Well last week was rough. Anyone who has worked for a company as long as I have (28years) knows when the word restructure comes up it probably is not a good thing. I have been a mess for the last 2 weeks waiting on my meeting with the owner. On Friday I was informed that I will have a position, but it will no longer be a straight commission job. We have not talked about the fee I will be paid, but I know it will be salary with ability to make performance bonuses. This could have gone a lot different, so I am just grateful for the offer. I also leave for vacation on Saturday, so I have that to look forward to.

QOTD: I have Bamboo, corning, plastic, glass. I use the hard white plastic one the most but use the thick plastic sheets on top and then sanitize them in the dishwasher. I also am afraid of getting someone sick. I had food poising in my 20's and was in the hospital for a week and it was not good.

Accountability: Not bad, my stomach has been in knots so eating has not been a priority.

TSS: 7 years 4-months 17-days 166 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein lemon bar and strawberries

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: eggwich and Mississippi pot roast

D: Crack chicken on 0 net carb tortilla

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great week my friends.

Brightest Blessings

Chrissy

Good morning, everybody!

I got into a fender bender on Saturday morning. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. My car does have some damage that we will need to take in for an estimate next Monday. I really hope that they can fix it, I don't want to get a new car until I am retired and not driving in the city.

We did get a truck and got loaded up on Sunday morning. Marilyn made about 8 hours on Sunday and is hoping for another 8 today. Her Mom flew out to make the drive with her, which I appreciate.

This is a busy work week, we have a lot of leadership changes happening, which is leading to many meetings. Tonight we have a dinner.

QOTD: we have mostly wood. I hadn't heard of Titanium.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: catered

Dinner: work event

Have a great day, all!

Good mornin y'all!

late start today. My credit was improved enough that I was able to order a new phone and ad it to the monthly bill each month. So it should be a huge relief not to have to carry around this receiver for this CGM. Yay! I'm super glad about it. This weekend was not great. My mom is stressing me out big time and some person on FB decided to launch some personal attacks. It upset me at first...a lot. All over a meme mind you :::eye roll::: I almost left FB. Was on the page to delete it. A friend PMed me and I was talked off that. It wouldn't have been so bothersome if my mom hadn't been stressing me. I had a lot of friends back me up so that made me feel a little less battered. I wear my heart on my sleeve and when someone does something like this i****s me hard. Anyway...I blocked the person and the original person who started it. Time to move on.

Today not much is happening. We have to pick the kids up after school and take them home. The phone is coming today and has to be signed for. So we're waiting around for that.

QOTD: I prefer bamboo or wood of some kind but for most jobs we use plastic as it's easier to handle and clean. I don't like glass as it dulls blades but I've also had one shatter on me so I might just be scared of it. Ha!

B: egg burrito and coffee

L: egg muffins with black bean dip(homemade)

D: coconut shrimp and an egg roll

have a great day everyone!
