What's on your Monday menu?
Good Monday morning gang. Boy did the weekend fly by. We had a fun time Saturday morning at the Cheerleading nationals. Mia's team got second place in their division out of 8 teams. Irvin and I walked through the casino, but didn't play anything. I just wasn't feeling it and didn't want to waste money for nothing. Ended up going to the Asian market to grab some stuff and stopped at Big Y for some fish, shrimp, and oysters to make a seafood fry.
We have a new hire starting today and other than that the day/week should be a quiet one.
QOTD: Who here had crazy weather over the weekend? We woke up Saturday morning to an inch of snow/sleet and then by the afternoon it was sunny. Further North by 20 minutes in MA they had almost 4 inches of snow. I'm beginning to think Mother Nature is drinking or something because the weather usually isn't this crazy in April.
B: coffee and 2 eggs with ham and cheese
L: Bok Choy soup
D: Grilled chicken thighs
30 minutes on the treadmill
Have a wonderful day everyone!!!
Good morning, everybody!
I had a bit of the Sunday Scaries yesterday. That's unusual for me. Not that I go bounding into work on Monday morning, but usually I enjoy the weekend and let Monday come to me. I'm not even super busy today, just dreaded the thought of going back to work today.
To go to your QOTD, Jennifer, it has been an unusually cold spring so far. I think that may be a component of why I felt as I did. Some outdoor weekends will certainly help things.
I did the Fun Run on Saturday, everyone was cute in their superhero costumes. And I got a hat out of the deal.
Marilyn is away for a few days, but I have plenty to do to keep me busy. We will rent the Home Depot truck on April 28th and need to have everything ready to go by then. My lifting platform is about 375 pounds, so I will need help tilting it against the wall for disassembly. The number one priority is to get the area around it ready so that I can round up some helpers and be ready to go.
Breakfast: bagel
Lunch: catered
Dinner: leftover pierogies and kielbasa
Have a great day, all!

Good mornin y'all.
nothing much happening here. I woke up Saturday barely able to function with my back hurting really bad. So I didn't do much, yesterday it was slightly better and today is about the same as yesterday. I happen to have an appointment with the pain management clinic. Hoping to get at least a muscle relaxer. We'll see. It's gotten me down in the dumps but at least I am still on point with food and tracking. Down a few more pounds.
I'm tired from not being able to sleep much. I'm hoping my mom doesn't have much planned. We have no days off this week from appointments. I need to get some stuff done at home too. Tomorrow my mom has one, Wednesday and Thursday are for me and Friday we've got to get the car's oil changed. Friday were also going out with my aunt for her birthday. I need to make a pendant for her this week.
QOTD: Saturday we were 92°. Yesterday we were 88°. Last weekend we had 5 inches of snow on that Saturday.
B: egg, sausage, cheese, light bread and coffee
L: undecided. Prob soup
D: chicken and roasted broccoli and cauliflower
S: cheese, 1/2 tbs PB and ????
Good Morning! Yes the weekend flew by and Monday we meet again. I can't complain though as the weekend was pretty relaxing with not much excitement.
QOTD: It was a little warmer than our typical April weather but that's all.
TSS: 10 years 8 months
B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange
L: Turkey and cheese sticks, oikos yogurt and some fruit
S: A piece of fruit and yogurt
D: TBD, maybe steak
ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast
E: 1/2 hour elliptical and 2 miles on treadmill
V/W: On track
Totals: TBD
Have a great day!
QOTD- Sun one minute, pouring rain the next and frost advisories. Not your typical spring weather, add in hail and wind and that's what it's been like.
I finally planted all of my veggies and flowers yesterday. My back wasn't very happy, but I'll survive. I also went to the movies on Saturday I saw A Working Man, Jason Statham definitely action packed and violent. It was an early show and there were only 2 of us in the theater. I don't understand the allure of Minecraft, I never played the game and am amazed that the movie is doing so well. The next movie I want to see is The Amateur probably some time this week.
I also watched football, not a great game but at least it was football. The UFL team I like is the St Louis Battle Hawks. I'm not sure why I picked them but I like the antics of the fans.
I need to get to work.
Have a great day everyone!
